Loaning of Queen Ketevan relics to Georgia from India
Queen Ketevan was the wife of the heir to the throne of Kakheti in Georgia. After her husband and father-in-law were killed, she was taken hostage along with her children by Shah Abbas I of Persia. The Shah demanded she convert to Islam, which she refused. As a result, she was brutally tortured and murdered in 1624 after 10 years of imprisonment. Her remains were taken to Goa, India by Portuguese missionaries. 3) Key events included battles with Meccans, establishing the first mosque in Medina, and making a pilgrimage to Mecca which became the Hajj. He passed away in 632 AD in Medina after unifying Arabia under the religion of Islam.
