In 2012, Talal Johany attended the fight between welterweight champion boxers Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley, held at the MGM Garden Arena. He, like many viewers, questioned the judges’ decision to award Bradley the victory. The two fighters met again in April 2014 for a rematch.

2.  An avid sports fan, Talal Johany is passionate
about boxing. In 2012, Talal Johany attended
the fight between welterweight champion
boxers Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley,
held at the MGM Garden Arena. He, like many
viewers, questioned the judges’ decision to
award Bradley the victory. The two fighters
met again in April 2014 for a rematch.

3.  The 2014 fight began with an aggressive
early start by Bradley, whose strategy called
for a knockout win. He nearly achieved the
KO in the fourth round with a strong right
punch; however, Pacquiao bounced back and
made a comeback in the sixth round.
Although he did not score a knockout against
Bradley, Pacquiao clearly dominated the latter
rounds of the match.

4.  In the end, Pacquiao won the fight by the
unanimous decision of the judges, who gave
him scores ranging from 118-110 to 116-
112. He became the first boxer to ever win a
professional match against Bradley.
After the fight, Bradley congratulated
Pacquiao, earning a hug from his opponent’s
mother. Both fighters commented in press
conferences that the other had improved his
skills since the 2012 match.
