PROJECT EXPERIENCE:
Bicycle Speed Survey and Safety Assessment – January 2015
Performed a speed survey analysis of bicycles traveling through the CSUS campus bike lanes using time mean speed and space
mean speed. Calculated a safer speed limit for the existing bike lanes.
Intersection Level of Service – March 2015
Analyzed the Level of Service of the intersection near CSUS utilizing a TDC-12 hand held counterand Syncrho 8 traffic analysis
software. Proposed major changes to the roadways to improve the Level of Service. Recommended alternative modes of
transportation offered by CSUS.
Reinforced Concrete, Building Design – December 2015
Designed a structural building that can withstand the live load and dead load given with a group of four. Designed the slabs,
beams, and columns.
Synchronizing Traffic Lights – July 2015
Collected traffic count data from two intersection and used a program called Synchro to find the LOS of each intersection and
designed the best signal timing necessary for highest LOS.
Manila Folder Bridge – December 2013
Fabricated a truss bridge made of a manila folder and calculated the maximum allowable force and the location of failure.
Ammonia Concentration Analysis – December 2014
Wrote a VBA program in excel that calculated the levels of un-ionized ammonia from the raw data, summarized the violations,
calculated the fines for discharges over the limit, and displayed concentrations of un-ionized ammonia in graphical form.
