*Accounting 1 (10-12)  Meets Math Elective Credit Prerequisite:  None Accounting is a means of expressing in clear, understandable financial terms the results of complex operations of business. *Accounting 2 (10-12) Meets Math Elective Credit Prerequisite:  Accounting 1 If you are interested in being involved in management decisions, take Accounting II. Accounting 3 (12) Meets Math Elective Credit Prerequisite:  Accounting 2   Independent study class. You will study corporate financial accounting. Accounting 4 (12) Meets Math Elective Credit Prerequisite:  Accounting 3 Independent study class. You will study cost accounting. Personal Financial Management (9-12) Meets Math Elective Credit  Prerequisite:  None This course is designed to help students understand the financial world around them so that they may make wise economic decisions related to their financial affairs. Introduction to Business, Marketing, & Technology (9-12) Prerequisite:  None This is an introductory course designed to help students discover the business, marketing, management and information technology career clusters.
*Word Processing/Keyboarding 1 (9-12) Prerequisite:  None Learn to operate the computer to create various personal documents and to develop speed and accuracy in keyboarding.  Keyboarding is an essential lifelong skill. *Word Processing/Keyboarding 2 (9-12) Prerequisite:  Word Processing 1 Learn to create the various business style documents used today and to derive speed and accuracy adequate for job entry. *Upon successful completion of this course, 11th and 12th grade students may earn college credit.
Career Investigations (9-12) Meets Senior Interview and Job Shadow requirements  Prerequisite:  None Career Investigations will develop in students the skills, attributes, and aptitudes necessary to prepare them for post-secondary education and careers.  BMT Internship (11-12) Prerequisite:  Must be enrolled in Career Investigations For students to receive credit for Career Internship, they must enroll and pass Career Investigations, work an average of ten hours per week, and complete an internship manual.
*Computer Applications (10-12)  Prerequisite:  None All students should take this course.  Spreadsheets, word processing, database, multimedia presentation, and the internet are all included in this course.  Students will obtain the necessary skills to take the Microsoft Office XP Core Certification test. * Principles of Marketing & DECA (9-12) Prerequisite:  None Students interested in developing skills and competencies needed for careers in marketing, merchandising, and management should take this course. *Upon successful completion of this course, 11th and 12th grade students may earn college credit.
*Adv. Marketing & DECA Seminar (11-12) Prerequisite:  Principles of Marketing & DECA This course will concentrate on National DECA’s program of competitive events.  The course will focus on National DECA’s Public Relations, Free Enterprise, Community Service, Creative Marketing, and Learn and Earn Chapter Projects.  *Sports, Entertainment, & Fashion Mkt. (11-12) Prerequisite:  Principles of Marketing & DECA or Introduction to Business, Marketing, & Technology Through a variety of hands-on projects, students will become aware of issues that management faces in everyday operations of a franchise.  *Upon successful completion of this course, 11th and 12th grade students may earn college credit.
*AP Microeconomics (10-12) Meets Economics Credit Prerequisite:  None AP Microeconomics is designed to give students a thorough understanding of the principles of economics that apply to the functions of individual decision makers, both consumers and producers, within the economic system. *Upon successful completion of this course, 11th and 12th grade students may earn college credit.
