Objectives

• Finding mechanisms to detect non-original work in the
assignments handed in

• Encouraging, through the teaching, proper use of
third-party information

• Establishing protocols to handle cases of copying

Conclusions
• The tool has aided faculty in their tasks and has made
evident that there is plagiarism.

• It has identified the need for future management
mechanisms to provide support for the regulations
• on copying.

• Further steps are required with a more pedagogical
focus: prevention versus detection.
