In South Africa, you will be enchanted by giant, orange full moons; crystal-clear

even the roar of a lion at midnight outside your safari camp!
The cuisine of South Africa is sometimes called "rainbow cuisine", as it has a variety
of multicultural sources and stages. Eating and drinking in this truly magical part of
the world, is a culinary experience not to be missed. The wide array of cuisine
available is overwhelming. Along with the South-African indigenous cuisine, there
are culinary influences from settlers originally from India, Portugal, Malaysia and
Britain. One taste and you will be hooked.
March and April would certainly be an excellent time to consider Cape Town and the
bush, autumn in South Africa offer in some ways the best weather. Very little rain
falls over the whole country, and it is warm but not too hot, getting cooler as the
season progresses.

The experience:
Your Arrival
Overachievers will touch down at Cape Town International Airport this evening
where they will be met by AbsoluteEdge staff. Overachievers will then be
transferred by a private luxury air conditioned coach to the luxurious Taj Hotel.
The group will enjoy a welcome drink at their private group check in before
embarking on their unique Cape Town adventure.
Cape Town has magnificent beaches, a fantastic variety of wine estates within
close proximity of the city, tremendous cultural experiences such as, Robben
Island and the Townships. Scenic locations everywhere, such as Table Mountain,
Signal Hill and Camps Bay.
Welcome Dinner
A casual dinner at the hotel Twankey Bar to welcome guests on their first evening
in beautiful Cape Town.
Whilst honouring its reputation for serving a selection of the finest West Coast
and Namibian oysters (shucked to order!), the new Twankey menu features a
selection of tapas style small plates.
Along with a fine selection of local wines & bubble’s and the freshest Guinness
served in Cape Town, The Twankey Bar has now joined a growing list of bars
specialising in locally produced craft beers and ciders from some of the countries
finest brewers. The Twankey Baris fast gaining a reputation for serving great
Food, craft Brew and fine wines in an elegant but casual space.
Day 1

The experience:
Morning Kick Off
Overachievers will start the new day refreshed with breakfast at the hotel restaurant.
Full Day Cape Point Tour
Nothing compares to the absolute beauty and ruggedness of the Cape Peninsula, from the
moment you see it you fall in love with it. Overachievers will visit the beautiful City of Cape
Town, walk through Company Gardens, and then head off to Cape Point Nature Reserve
and have an opportunity to take a photo at the famous sign “The most South Western point
of the African Continent”, and to travel on the funicular to observe the old lighthouse and
enjoy the panoramic views, before heading to a secluded beach within the reserve for a
picnic lunch overlooking the tranquil bay of Buffels Bay.
The view of the bay provides a spectacular setting for staring out over False bay. Buffels
Bay is perfectly situated as a great resting point on the Cape Point Tour Day.
Overachievers will then be in for a surprise Powerboat experience for a truly unique way to
appreciate the stunning views and rugged, dramatic beauty of Cape Point. The group will
hear stories of shipwrecks, sea life and ghost ships, all of which have made this peninsula
notoriously famous. After lunch, Overachievers will be transported to Boulders Beach to see
the African Penguins.
Evening
Dinner this night will be in a relaxed setting of wide open decks overlooking the Atlantic
Ocean at the trendy Bungalow restaurant.
Bungalow is Camps Bay’s newest hot spot for chilling out and it’s definitely the place to be
seen. Who needs to conjure up images of white sand beaches, palm trees and turquoise
seas when it’s all in front of you while sipping on exotic drinks and tucking into world-class
meals!
Day 2

The experience:
Morning
Overachievers will enjoy a stylish and relaxed breakfast at the hotel Mint
Restaurant.
Full Day Winelands Tour
Today Overachievers will further explore the beauty that Cape Town beholds with
a full day Cape Winelands Tour. Incredibly picturesque, the Winelands is
surrounded by vineyards and orchards with a backdrop of mountains.
Overachievers will enjoy a wine tasting at Grande Provence Wine Estate, a
sophisticated destination in its own right. This will be followed by an intimate
lunch at one of the top restaurants in Stellenbosch, the Delaire Wine Estate,
South Africa’s most desirable art and wine destination.
Evening
Tonight guests will be dinning at the trendy Potluck Club and Gallery located on
the 6th floor of The Silo in The old Biscuit Mill. The open plan kitchen and bar,
milled steel table tops, with an amazing view of Cape Town there's no doubt that
The Pot Luck Club & Gallery is the city's sexiest new spot, designed for laidback
dining and featuring equally well dressed plates.
Luke Dale-Roberts, one of South Africa’s top chefs, is the owner and head chef of
the Potluck Club in Cape Town. He has won multiple awards and his cuisine is a
combination of various global influences which creates a very special dinning
experience. His new concept of small plates philosophy offers an element of fine
dining and sophisticated flavour marriages.
Day 3

The experience:
Morning | Robben Island Tour
After enjoying a sophisticated and delicious buffet breakfast at the exclusive Mint, the
Overachievers will immerse themselves in a tremendous cultural experience, the
Robben Island tour. The Robben Island ferry departs from the Nelson Mandela
Gateway at the V&A Waterfront. The three and a half hour tour includes a return trip
across Table Bay (30 minute ferry ride) a visit to the Maximum Security Prison,
interaction with an ex-political prisoner. You will have the opportunity to explore the
Murray's Bay Harbour precinct attractions, such as the Muslim shrine, or kramat, and
the Museum Shop
Afternoon at Leisure
Evening
Overachievers will be hitting the city on a fun progressive 3 course dinner through
Cape Town. Starting with entrée at The Grande Café which overlooks a little stretch
of beach where the Overachievers can enjoy drinks on the beach while being served
a selection of starters. The group will then be transferred to Zenzero Restaurant in
Camps Bay for their main course, a place where the sense and the tastes of Italy, its
flavours and style, come brilliantly to life.
A final surprise will be awaiting Overachievers as a food truck appears in a new
location to prepare desserts for our Overachievers. This could range from great
sorbets to South African style desserts like koeksisters and mini malva’s or maybe
flambéed French style pancakes (crepes Suzette).
The night could continue on Long Street where locals and celebrities hang out, for
fun vibes. Long Street has a wonderful energy and it’s one of Cape Town’s best spots
for a night out on the town.
Day 4

The experience:
Morning | White Shark Cage Experience
Shark Cage Diving is one of the ‘must do’s’ for anyone visiting Cape Town! – to be
that close to a Great White shark is intense but also exciting. The Great White
shark is a surface feeder.
The shark activity takes place on or just below sea level. When guests are not in
the cage they enjoy refreshments while viewing the Great Whites and other sea
life from the boat’s upper deck. Guests who do not want to go in the cage are most
welcome to join in for the viewing trip. After this memorable experience, our guests
will unwind and relax over a buffet lunch.
Afternoon At Leisure
Evening
After a fun filled day, Overachievers will have time to relax before heading to the
elegant Aubergine Restaurant for the exclusive final three course dinner in Cape
Town which promises to be a memorable experience.
Aubergine in the Gardens area of Cape Town has been voted in the top five
restaurants in the Africa and Middle East Category by the San Pellegrino World’s
50 best restaurants. The restaurant serves sophisticated cuisine in a warm
atmosphere. The décor is contemporary, with dark wooden furniture and
interesting artwork.
Day 5

The Taj Cape Town
Taj Cape Town is a luxury hotel set in the vibrant heart of Cape Town,
offering Overachievers a combination of refined Indian hospitality and an
authentic Cape Town experience.
Occupying two historic buildings, it retains the architecture and many
meticulously restored interior features of the original South African
Reserve Bank and the old BoE building – formerly the Temple
Chambers, built in 1890. Seventeen new storeys house suites,
guestrooms and residences with magnificent views of the Mother City
and the iconic Table Mountain.
Taj’s doors open to a precinct that includes the national and provincial
parliaments, Government Avenue leading through the 350-year-old
Company Gardens from St George’s Cathedral, the cosmopolitan crafts
of St George’s Mall and a diversity of culture, art, entertainment and
cuisine.
The Taj offers Overachievers a luxury cultural experience topped with the
grandeur of staying in a historical building (the old bank) set in the City
Centre within walking distance to Green Market Square which is great
for shopping.

Destination
Victoria Falls

Blessed with one of the seven natural wonders of the world and an abundance of
wildlife, water and vast open spaces – Zambia offers an unforgettable African
experience. Spectacular waterways provide a wonderful, adrenaline pumping or
leisurely playground of activities for everyone.
Zambia has the largest water resources in the whole of Southern Africa, with 5
massive lakes and plentiful rivers offering excellent tiger and fly fishing, canoeing
safaris, first class water rafting, kayaking and daily spectacular watery sunsets.
Livingstone makes for a great base as it is the main town on the Zambian side of
the Victoria Falls. As the falls are on the border of two countries, they are part of two
distinct national parks. The park in Zambia is Mosi-ao-Tunya National Park, and the
park in Zimbabwe is simply Victoria Falls National Park.
A trip to Victoria Falls, on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe, is a once-in-a-
lifetime experience you’ll always remember, no matter what you see or do.
The flight from Johannesburg to Livingstone is approximately 30 minutes.

The experience:
Morning
After breakfast and check-out the group will depart the hotel and transfer to the
airport for their flight domestic flight to Johannesburg to then board their flight to
Zambia. Upon arrival at Livingstone airport Overachievers will be transferred to
the opulent Royal Livingstone Hotel, via water taxi, the group must keep an eye
for crocodile, hippo and elephant on this unique transfer while racing through the
rapids, for an unforgettably stay at this luxury property. The water taxi transfer
takes approximately 35 minutes.
Afternoon – Adventure time
After a quick check-in at the hotel, the group will head out for an afternoon
canoe safari adventure with Paul Connolly (South Africa very own Crocodile
Dundee), which includes canoeing along the mighty Zambezi River amongst the
great Nile crocodile and hippo, a beer and biltong stop on one of the islands. The
activity takes around 2 to 3 hours.
Paul Connolly was born and raised in Zimbabwe and has been working with the
Department of National Parks and Wildlife etting the rules and guidelines for the
companies involved in rafting, canoeing and kayaking and community schooling
projects.
Evening: Zambia Welcome Dinner
Tonight Overachievers will be officially welcomed to Zambia with an elegant
dinner on the Royal Livingstone Terrace. The group will enjoy a freshly prepared
delicious 3 course menu while looking out over the lawns and the mighty
Zambezi River.
Day 6

The experience:
Morning – The Victoria Falls
After breakfast the group will head out on a morning guided tour of the Victoria
Falls to see the falls in full force. March and April are a great time for view the
Victoria Falls.
Afternoon – White Water Rafting thrill!
After a delicious buffet lunch, the Overachievers will enjoy an amazing White
Water Rafting experience with outstanding views of the canyons and Zambezi
River. Names of rapids like Stairway to Heaven, The Terminator, Oblivion, The
Washing Machine, Judgement Day, Devils Toilet Bowl and Oblivion, give you a
small insight of what to expect! Guests will have some time at leisure afterwards
before the Gala Dinner.
Gala Dinner – Dinner at Batoka Gorge
Perched high up on the sheer edge of the Batoka Gorge on both sides – offering
spectacular views above the rapid number 7, this is an astounding dinner site for
the MYOB Overachievers Gala Dinner.
The rocky landscape and thorny trees lit up by strategically placed lights and
lanterns, and the silvery moonlit sparkle of the Zambezi white water, crashing
through its course 100m below provide the setting for an unforgettable Bush
Dinner. The very nature of dining out in open air, wild country surrounds and
firelight brings out the basic human in all of us.
Add to this the age-old customs of the tribal dancers, the melody of their
ancestral songs, the ancient beat of the African drums, and you have a potpourri
of African magic in the palm of Mother Nature. Tasty and tantalising cuisine, cool
beverages and excellent service make up the rest of what is regarded as the
ultimate in Bush Dinner experience.
Day 7

Creating WOW: Day 6
During the day: WOW over the Victoria Falls
“The Flight of Angels” aptly refers to the Helicopter
Flights over and around Victoria Falls. It originated
from the phrase coined by David Livingstone when
he first documented discovering the falls: “Scenes
so lovely must have been gazed upon by Angels in
Their Flight”.
At ground level you can feel the enormous power of
the Victoria Falls as tremendous volumes of water
pound into the chasm below. But it is only when you
take to the air that you can take in the whole
panorama and enormity of this mighty spectacle. But
what’s even more spectacular is that as you look
downstream you can see the zigzag of the gorges.
Today, Overachievers will enjoy a 12 minute flight
which takes off from Elephant hillsheli pad, which is
just a few kilometres upstream of the Falls.

The experience:
Day 7 : Departure
After breakfast and check- out the group will depart the hotel and transfer to
Livingstone Airport for their onward scheduled regional flight to Johannesburg.
Upon arrival in Johannesburg the group will check in for their onward flight
home.
Day 8

Venue option:
The Royal Livingstone at the Victoria Falls in Zambia is perfect for the
discerning traveller in search of luxury, extravagance, indulgence and a
myriad of activities. This iconic hotel is spectacularly set in a lush riverine
environment and maintains an air of sophistication often associated with a
bygone era.
The hotel stretches along the banks of the Zambezi River, just a short walk
to the entrance of The Victoria Falls. The Royal Livingstone Hotel is
named in honour of the explorer Dr. David Livingstone, and it's interior
design reflects the elegance of days gone by using an African architectural
style.
The Royal Livingstone Hotel comprises 173 spacious en-suite
guestrooms, each with its own private veranda, stretched along the river
bank.
 
All guestrooms are elegantly decorated. Each room has large beds with
white linen, satellite television, air-condition, mini bar, mini safe, telephone,
tea and coffee-making facilities. Bathrooms are in Victorian style with
shower and bath.
Our MYOB Overachievers will be staying in Luxury King Rooms which
consist of king size beds and Victorian style en-suite bathrooms. The
private veranda has a beautiful view of the river.
