Forms of feedback include oral, written, non-verbal, and no response. Managers should directly observe employees and gather feedback from other employees, managers, and clients. When giving praise, do so quickly and be specific about the behavior, genuine about progress over perfection, and share the praise with others sincerely. When giving criticism, consider the content, sender, relationship, and delivery method.
