The cultural activity had students from two classes painting plates using both traditional and modern designs. A sports competition had other classes playing darts with the winners receiving diplomas. Additionally, one class volunteered at an aquarium by helping clean it.
Tablets can be used creatively in the classroom to engage students and prepare them for the digital world. When using tablets, students find learning more interesting and creative as they communicate more and work more independently. It is important to have the right virtual learning environment, such as Edmodo, to facilitate communication and sharing between students and teachers. Content creation apps on tablets allow students to produce ebooks, videos, presentations and more, helping to develop skills relevant outside the classroom. As technology becomes more important, tablets are being incorporated into more European classrooms.
