This document outlines a coalition of over 30 neighborhood and city-wide organizations called Affordable Neighborhoods in New York City. The coalition is working together in 2013 to advance a progressive housing agenda with four main policy goals: overhauling the code enforcement system, committing to real affordability policies and inclusionary zoning, improving and preserving public housing, and expanding homeownership assistance and foreclosure prevention resources. The coalition includes groups from all five boroughs representing a variety of low-income communities.
