WHAT’S THE POINT?

To find the connection between the geographic
environment around Amit, and his human mind

Without sight, his feeling and emotions about the
space and place around him were lost.
PLANT (1992)

Simply, the dérive is to explore the urban
environemtn in new ways, with fresh eyes, in order
to experience it in a non-quotidian manner and “to
cultivate an awareness of the ways in which
everyday life is presently conditioned and controlled’
CONCLUSION

This dérive changed our perception of the spaces
and places around us, and made us realise how
much we are conditioned and controlled.
