Three Cloud Service Models •  SaaS -- Software as a Service – Resource is vendor’s application •  PaaS -- Platform as a Service – Computing platform - write and deploy code, store/retrieve data – DaaS Database as a Service (Amazon RDS, SimpleDB) •  IaaS -- Infrastructure as a Service – Rent computing resources - storage, network, CPU capacity
