Origametria is a program developed by the Israeli Origami Center to teach geometry concepts to elementary school students through the art of origami. The program focuses on exploring a single geometric topic in each lesson using an origami model. Over 10,000 students participate weekly. Key reasons for its success include its positive teaching methods that build students' self-esteem and focus on understanding geometry inherent in the folding process rather than accuracy of models. Continuous training is also provided to Origametria teachers.
