About Gitanjali Public School
In the month of January 2014 , after taking over the charge, the Gitanjali Foundation formed new managing
Committee to look after the school with very noted persons from various sphere of society. They renamed the
school as Gitanjali Public School and immediately took up all out efforts to get affiliation from CBSE, New Delhi.
Gitanjali Foundation determined to develop the school with all modern facilities like CCTV Surveillance, Digital class
room, water purifier and all other necessary amenities. The management started recruiting staff members as per
CBSE guidelines.
The school is affiliated with CBSE , New Delhi with affiliation no 2430167 upto senior Secondary level. All the three
streams science, Commerce and Humanities with most of the subjects are studied here. In near future more subjects
from vocational Courses will be introduced .Special facilities for Pre Primary level are also available. The school is
under the jurisdiction of Bhubaneswar Region of CBSE with school no 15614

LATE COMING
⚫ We request you to send your ward on time to school.
⚫ If the child comes after 8 a.m. , he/she will be marked late.
⚫ If there are 3 late remarks in the calendar, the child will besent home.
⚫ Do not leave the child near the gate and move immediately,the school
will not be responsible for any mishaps.

are no formal examinations for these classes. However,
evaluation of the child’s progress is done on the basis of
day-to-day performance under the Continuous and
Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE). These theme-based

include written assessments via worksheets and written
work done in notebooks/workbooks in school and at
home, oral assessments via classroom discussions and
interactions, and activity assessments that are judged

bring the tiffin box.

unhealthy food items in the tiffin for the break time.
□The tiffin should be leak proof and easy for the child to open
to avoid spillage.
□Students can carry some snacks incase they need to have it
in the morning before assembly.
