What happens when I
register my student ID in the
library?
You can check out books from CTU’s
library, and you can get an ACTS card
to allow you to check out books from
ACT libraries like JKM, and also the
University of Chicago. You cannot use
library online resources, such as online
journal articles, until you have
registered your ID.
What happens when I create
an account in the library
catalog?
You can renew books and request
books from other libraries.
Why do I need to know the
barcode number on my
student ID?
This number is used as your library
barcode number, and you will need it
to create your own account in the
library catalog, to search for articles
and other online library resources
from off campus, and to access library
articles professors may post on their
coursepage on Union/Moodle.
