Open Knowledge Maps is a project that aims to change how research is discovered by creating an open and collaborative process. It uses open source and open content licenses to develop mapping tools that allow researchers to visualize connections between ideas and findings. The project is working with advisors and partners to launch its first version in November, with a vision of facilitating discovery through an open network that researchers can contribute to and draw from.
