The One Health team comprising students from the University of Florida and Great Lakes University of Kisumu conducted fieldwork and sample collection in Kisumu, Kenya, focusing on assessing zoonotic diseases in fish. They collected water, soil, and fish samples around Lake Victoria, analyzing the potential contamination sites and the various fish species present. The fieldwork and subsequent lab analyses were comprehensive and deemed successful.
