Oliver Newman is a Sustainable Engineering Laboratory Technician at C.R. Bard in Covington, GA and has worked there since 2014. He was credited with designing a provisional patent for a tubing management system that mitigates dependent loops hindering urine drainage. At his job, he designs prototypes, test fixtures, technical drawings, writes documentation, and conducts laboratory testing. He also serves as the Assistant Director for USA Cycling Southeastern Collegiate Cycling Conference, where he schedules races and acts as an official. Oliver has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Georgia Southern University and has extensive skills in CAD, additive manufacturing, engineering, programming, and communications.
