Even if you have a well-planned and controlled project, there is still 1 important but sometimes overlooked area that can impact the success of a project. This very important area is quality management and assurance. There are many quality systems that exist today thanks to the work of pioneers such as Dr. William Edward Deming. You will be evaluating different quality systems such as ISO 9000, Six Sigma, Plan-Do-Check-Act or Plan-Do-Study-Act, capability maturity model integration (CMMI), organizational project management maturity model (OPM3), and Malcolm Baldrige for their potential application to a project you will be selecting in the Individual Project for this week.

write 350–500 words that respond to the following questions with your thoughts, ideas, and comments. This will be the foundation for future discussions by your classmates. Be substantive and clear, and use examples to reinforce your ideas.
Research at least 2 sources (which may include your textbook) to support your response, and discuss the following:
•Compare and contrast 3 of what you consider the most appropriate types of quality systems for the project that you will use in your Key Assignment.
•In your opinion, which is the best type of quality system? Why?
•Which is the easiest to implement? Why?

Overview
As you have already learned in your Discussion Board this week, quality assurance in any project might be the most important but overlooked aspect of a project. Lack of quality management, however, can cause an entire project to fail if the final project deliverables do not meet customer expectations and standards. Implementing quality assurance throughout the project improves overall performance of tasks and minimizes the risk of nonacceptance at the end of the project. In this course, you are asked to develop a Quality Management Integration Plan that allows you to select and integrate quality management tool ...

Assignment 3: Justification Report – Presentation
Now that you have completed your report, it is time to design and present your findings. Your task is to organize and develop the three (3) parts (introduction, body, and closing) of an effective presentation, based on your Justification Report (Assignment 2.3). Chapter 12 in our text provides overall information on presentation format, content, and delivery. Please do not simply cut and paste your justification report content to the slides. Instead develop clear, concise content that enhances your presentation narration or notes. Remember that your slides are meant to be highlights and your audience should not spend a great deal of time reading from the slides but instead listening to you present the concepts.
Create an eight to ten (8-10) slide presentation in which you:
1. Ensure that your PowerPoint presentation fulfills the appropriate length requirements and professional style requirements.
2. Open with an engaging introduction of the topic of your report. Include one (1) title slide and one (1) introductory slide.
3. For the body of your presentation, cover the main points of your report. Create slides that reinforce and illustrate your main ideas. Follow basic design principles for effective slide content.
4. For your single closing slide, finish with a memorable wrap-up statement that refocuses on the purpose of your report.
5. Use PowerPoint voice-over and / or the notes section to present your slides.
Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:
· Include a title slide containing the title of the assignment, your name, the professor’s name, the course title, and the date. The title slide is not included in the required slide length.
· Format the PowerPoint presentation with headings on each slide, and two to three (2-3) relevant graphics (photographs, graphs, clip art, etc.) throughout the presentation, ensuring that the presentation is visually appealing and readable from 18 feet away. Check with your professor for any additional instructions.
· Slides should abbreviate the information in no more than five or six (5 or 6) bullet points each.
· Slide titles should be based on the criteria being summarized (e.g., “Four Key Attributes,” “Responses to Budget Issues,” etc.).
Assignment Checklist
· Descriptive titles on each of the slides
· Text contains concise, precise content
· Graphics convey the idea described by the slide text
· Statements in bulleted lists have a parallel structure
· The font size is easily read from a distance
· There are no more than three (3) different font styles in the presentation

Assignment 1 LASA 2—Company Analysis ReportReview the following.docxtrippettjettie
Assignment 1: LASA 2—Company Analysis Report
Review the following scenario:
Assume that you have recently been hired as the director of continuous improvement of a company. You are an outside hire with limited history of the firm and personal capital at the firm, and you are responsible for lean production, total quality management (TQM), six sigma, and best practice implementation.
Lean production means doing more with less, such as less inventory, fewer workers, or less space. A recent trade in quality management is lean six sigma (also known as lean sigma) that integrates six sigma and lean production.
The capacity for which you were hired has existed for three years with a direct line of report to the vice-president of operations and dotted line of report to the head of information technology (IT), the chief information officer (CIO), and the director of internal controls and audit. You are the second person to fill in this position. You have a team of internal consultants; half of your team has six sigma black belt or equivalent capabilities with the remainder having a solid understanding of operations and IT. You also have a budget for two external vendor resources.
You have taken six months to familiarize yourself with the organization and its people, mission, goals, strategy, and structure. In this time, you have also evaluated current operations. At the end of this period, you are assigned to deliver a report identifying the three most promising avenues for achieving best practices within the company. You have already been told that the company suffers from both aging and complex information systems and that your recommendation must include a major upgrade of those systems. The executive officers anticipate major investments in IT over the next several years. Your best practice implementations, coupled with new technology, must be measurable in terms of speed, quality, productivity, and efficiency or other key performance indicators that you identify in your report.
For this assignment, you will choose a company with which you are familiar. You are encouraged to choose a company for which you currently work or have worked, but you may choose some other firm if you believe it will be a compelling analysis.
You may choose one area of the company, such as a manufacturing plant or product design, to focus on if you can make a strong case. Your recommendations should have the following features.
· Repeatable: If you “fix” three things in a manufacturing plant, you should be able to tackle the “next” three in iteration.
· Scalable: If they work in one plant, they should work in all of them.
· Replicable: Your process for improvement should be repeatable in different, disparate parts of the organization.
This is a key initiative at the “C” level, and your recommendation will reach the board of directors.
Your paper must include the following sections:

· The color and background convey a formal business tone
· Animation effects are used in moderation
· There are no misspellings or typographical errors
The specific course learning outcomes associated with this assignment are:
· Assess strengths and weaknesses in the student’s own oral communication and in the oral communication of others.

ECO 201 Final Project Guidelines and Rubric
Overview
The final project for this course is the creation of a research paper. Every day, millions of economic choices are made by people—from what brand of soap to buy
to how many employees to hire for a factory. Microeconomics provides us with the tools, models, and concepts to better understand individual choices in the
marketplace and how resource allocation is determined at the micro level. The decisions made by individuals and households impact the market and influence
decisions made by firms. Firms use these tools as a way to determine pricing, output, and profit maximization. As a student of economics, you can use the
microeconomic principles to gain an understanding of how firms and individuals make decisions and also to make your own conclusions about actions we can
take to improve those decisions.
Now, imagine that you are a consultant to the firm of your choice. The firm has hired you to advise it on how it can ensure its future success as a company in its
current market. To do this, you will write a 7–9-page research paper analyzing market and business data to explain how the core microeconomic principles impact
the sustainability of the firm and what actions it can take to ensure success.
The project is divided into three milestones, which will be submitted at various points throughout the course to scaffold learning and ensure quality final
submissions. These milestones will be submitted in Modules Two, Four, and Five. The final submission will occur in Module Seven.
In this assignment, you will demonstrate your mastery of the following course outcomes:
Apply microeconomic models to real-world situations for informing effective business decisions
Analyze business and market data using microeconomic tools for their impact on business sustainability
Evaluate the structure of various markets for informing effective decision-making strategies
Assess the behavior and decisions of individuals and firms for their relation to the microeconomic framework
Prompt
You will work with your instructor to choose a firm for which you can find reliable data and information, both at the firm level and the industry level. The firm you
select must be a publicly traded company, must operate in the U.S. market, and must currently be in business. You will need instructor approval before continuing
on with your research paper in order to ensure you have met the necessary requirements. Publicly traded companies file reports with a great deal of data that
you will find useful for your analysis. Once you have selected a firm for your case study, you will gather information and data relevant to the firm and its industry
and use the core microeconomic principles you have learned in class to analyze the information and make a recommendation for your firm. You will compose a

currently under consideration (if you find one that has already closed out but interests you, you
can use that instead) and, then answer these questions.
1. State the administrative agency that controls the regulation. Briefly explain why this
agency and your proposed regulation change interests you. Will this proposed regulation affect
you or the business in which you are working? If so, how?
Submit a copy of the proposed regulation along with your responses to these five
questions. The proposed regulation can be submitted as either a separate Word document (.doc)
or Adobe file (.pdf).
2. Describe the proposal or change.
3. Write the public comment that you would submit for this proposal. If the proposed
regulation deadline has already passed, write the comment you would have submitted. Explain
briefly what you wish to accomplish with your comment.
4. Provide the "deadline" by which the public comment must be made. (If the date has
already passed, please provide when the deadline was).
5. Answer the following questions about your chosen proposal, regardless of whether you
are in favor of this proposed regulation.
a. If the proposal passes, identify and explain the five legal theories you could use in an

To do this, you will write a 7–9-page research paper analyzing market and business data to explain how the core microeconomic principles
impact the sustainability of the firm and what actions it can take to ensure success.
ECO-201-01: Apply microeconomic models to real-world situations for informing effective business decisions
ECO-201-02: Analyze business and market data using microeconomic tools for their impact on business sustainability
ECO-201-03: Evaluate the structure of various markets for informing effective decision-making strategies
ECO-201-04: Assess the behavior and decisions of individuals and firms for their relation to the microeconomic framework
You will compose a
7–9-page research paper in which you will.
IT 700 Capstone Component 2 IT Project Report Guidelines a.docxaryan532920
IT 700 Capstone Component 2: IT Project Report Guidelines and Rubric
Overview: For your IT project report, the second of three capstone components, you will imagine that the key stakeholders for whom you wrote your proposal
gave you the go-ahead to implement your information technology solution to the problem you identified. You have designed and developed your project
solution, and now you must report to the stakeholders.
In other words, for this capstone component, you will design and develop your project solution and then report on it. If you are able to implement your solution,
include a summary of your implementation and testing in your report. If you are not able to implement your solution, you may develop a model, simulation,
prototype, or proof of concept as an alternative to developing a fully implemented project. In this case, in your report you should include a plan for
implementation and testing.
Your report must provide clear evidence that your project was implemented and tested (or is implementable and testable). This can be achieved by documenting
a demonstration of the project in use or documenting an explanation of the model, simulation, or prototype. Consider using video or screenshots to
demonstrate and explain your project. If the implemented project is to be supplied to the instructor, you could provide a user manual that explains how to
install, configure, and run the software. You are encouraged to submit artifacts of the project including diagrams, software applications, database designs,
process documents, etc. Make sure to include clear instructions for accessing and using these artifacts. The design and development of your project solution
should demonstrate professional-level knowledge and skills.
Your project report should include at least one recommendation for future enhancements. Explain what you might add to the project if you had more resources?
What risk(s) would you need to consider before the enhancement was implemented at some future point in time? What would have to happen first before the
future enhancement was even considered seriously?
You will submit drafts of this component in Modules Four, Five, Six, Seven, and Eight. The final component is due in Milestone Nine.
The following sections are required in your project report (though you are not limited to including only these sections):
1. Project Design: Analyze the problem that you have identified and explain why the problem is significant. [Drafted in Modules Four and Eight]
2. Project Implementation: If you implemented your project, describe the implementation. If your project was not implemented, how would you
implement it? As you work on the project each module, the status of the project will be updated in this section. Describe the status of the
implementation to date. [Drafted in Modules Five, Six, and Eight]
3. Project Test Plans and Results: If you implemented and tested your project, describe how yo ...

Unit II Scholarly Activity
Cultural Interview
Pick a person to interview who has had a different cultural experience than you. Maybe the person or person’s family is from a different region or country. Other forms of diversity or difference are acceptable too. You may interview someone of any age, and it is OK if he or she is a co-worker, neighbor, friend, relative, spouse, or someone else you know. However, please keep in mind the spirit of the assignment. If you are interviewing someone you know well, please work hard in the interview to gain a deeper insight and appreciation for their experience.
Please conduct the interview face-to-face, through Skype/Face Time, or over the phone. The interview should be a minimum of 20 minutes long. Please take notes during the interview. If the interviewee gives you permission, you can record the interview to help you later when writing your assignment. It is not required to record or video tape the interview. You will not be turning in any recordings. You will be turning in a written assignment based on your interview.
Written Assignment Overview: Write a two-page essay about your interview experience. Your essay should include an introduction of your interviewee, summary of the interview answers in essay format, discussion of how the interview content relates to course concepts, and a final section with some concluding thoughts about the interview experience. You will be required to use the following headings: Introduction, Summary of Interview, Culture & Geography, and Conclusion.
Note: Click on the link below to view a document which contains an explanation of the requirements for the assignment sections, a list of questions that you can pick from, and pointers on conducting a successful interview.

Descriptive
research
is a study designed to depict the participants in an accurate way. More simply put, descriptive analysis is all about describing people who take part in the survey.
There are three ways a researcher can go about doing a descriptive research project, and they are:
Observational, defined as a method of viewing and recording the participants
Case study, defined as an in-depth study of an individual or group of individuals
Survey, defined as a brief interview or discussion with an individual about a specific topic
Mixed
methods
research
(Extracted from the article below) is the use of quantitative and qualitative methods in a single study or series of studies. It is a new methodology that is increasingly used by health researchers, especially within health services research. There is a growing literature on the theory, design, and critical appraisal of mixed methods research. However, few papers summarize this methodological approach for health practitioners who wish to conduct or critically engage with mixed methods studies.

Meta-Analysis
Meta
-
analysis
is a statistical technique for combining data from multiple studies on a particular topic. A Meta-analysis is an analytical tool for estimating the mean and variance of underlying population effects from a collection of empirical studies addressing ostensibly the same research question. Meta‐analysis has become an increasingly popular and valuable tool in psychological research, and significant review articles typically employ these methods.
Article: Meta-Analysis in Medical Research
Epidemiology
According to the Centers for Disease Control,
Epidemiology
is the method used to find the causes of health outcomes and diseases in populations. In epidemiology, the patient is the community and individuals are viewed collectively. By definition, epidemiology is the study (scientific, systematic, and data-driven) of the distribution (frequency, pattern) and determinants (causes, risk factors) of health-related states and events (not just diseases) in specified populations (neighborhood, school, city, state, country, global).
Article: Epidemiology is a Science of High Importance
Longitudinal Studies
Longitudinal Study, an epidemiologic study that follows a population forward over time, evaluating the effects of one or more variables on a process. If individuals are followed, it is termed a longitudinal cohort study. If classes—e.g., age classes—are studied, it is a longitudinal cross-sectional study. Longitudinal studies are the converse (opposite) of horizontal (parallel) studies.

Pick an administrative agency of either the United States Federal or a state government.
Find where the current and proposed regulation changes for that agency are located on the
Internet (i.e., the Federal Register or the State Administrative Agency website.) The site
regulations.gov is a good place to begin your research. Pick one proposed regulation change
currently under consideration (if you find one that has already closed out but interests you, you
can use that instead) and, then answer these questions.
5. Answer the following questions about your chosen proposal, regardless of whether you
are in favor of this proposed regulation.
a. If the proposal passes, identify and explain the five legal theories you could use in an
attempt to have (any) administrative regulation declared invalid and overturned in court.
b. Which of these challenges would be the best way to challenge the regulation you
selected for this assignment if you wanted to have the regulation overturned, and why?
This homework should be 2–3 pages long and single spaced (for a total of 65 points). See

Strengths and weaknesses of the assessment:
Thank you for your assignment.
This task requires you to develop a document that creates a sourcing plan for future requirements. Better
marks would therefore have been awarded if you had linked your summary promoting your main findings
and recommendations in relation to the tasks which were for you to explain:
1. The roles of procurement and supply in managing this area of expenditure underlining the inputs
that may be made by its stakeholders
2. Techniques that can be applied to the area of expenditure to improve added value
3. Inclusions that should be made in contracts formed in the future
4. Measures that can be taken to select effective suppliers
5. Any aspects of the purchase/supply that may require negotiation
Your executive summary served more as an introduction than underlining your main findings and

ECO 201 Final Project Guidelines and Rubric Overview .docxtidwellveronique
To do this, you will write a 7–9-page research paper analyzing market and business data to explain how the core microeconomic principles
impact the sustainability of the firm and what actions it can take to ensure success.
ECO-201-01: Apply microeconomic models to real-world situations for informing effective business decisions
ECO-201-02: Analyze business and market data using microeconomic tools for their impact on business sustainability
ECO-201-03: Evaluate the structure of various markets for informing effective decision-making strategies
ECO-201-04: Assess the behavior and decisions of individuals and firms for their relation to the microeconomic framework
You will compose a
7–9-page research paper in which you will.

Descriptive
research
is a study designed to depict the participants in an accurate way.
Article: Using Mixed Methods in Health Research
Longitudinal studies are the converse (opposite) of horizontal (parallel) studies.

harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

4. Kansas. Originally a landline telephone service in a rural area in
Abilene, Kansas. In 2006 Sprint converted from local landline
telephone service and created Embarq, which then become a
part of CenturyLink providing TV, phone, and broadband
internet service. Many changes and business venture were
attempted some succeeded and other failed.
1983: GTE acquires the Southern Pacific Communications
Corporation (SPCC) and renames the company GTE Sprint
Communications.
1984: United Telecom enters long-distance phone market.
1986: GTE Sprint and US Telecom merge.
1992: Following the reorganization, the company is renamed,
Sprint Corp.
2000: Proposed merger of Sprint with WorldCom falls through.
(Referenceforbusiness.com, 2017)
In 2005, they were also known as Sprint Corporation, but after
merging with Nextel they became Sprint Nextel Corporation.
However, that partnership did not last long. In 2013 after Nextel
shutdown many of the company stock was purchased by
Softbank and Sprint purchased the lingering shares. Sprint has
gone through several changes and renovations to reinvent,
boost, and grow the business and relationship.
Sprint is active as in 2017 as thriving cooperation competing
with Verizon and AT&T Mobility. However, Sprint has faced
many issues that have yet to be resolved.
Quality Issues
Over the years Spring has encountered call quality,
customer service, and network quality are still needing
improvements. Sprint was the pioneer in the cellular service
industries but somehow fell short. Call quality is the number
5. one issue as well of the coverage area. As many competitors
bought and begin to upgrade services, Sprint was slow to begin
the process and it has taken a toll. Sprint ranks low in cell
service, text messaging, and 4G reliability. Sadly, taking a back
seat to Verizon wireless ranking number 2 for CDMA based
service. The network is notorious for spotty coverage, even in
major cities. You can use your phone almost anywhere you go,
but you may have to deal with dropped calls, low bars or other
connection issues. (Tennant, 2017)
As if the service was not enough to for a consumer to deal, they
have to call in to deal with customer service support. If you
search Sprint and complaints you get a host of sites that have
reviews from customers that have over 2,000 plus reviews of
unhappy customers. The complaints range from over the phone
and in-person experiences. Having good customer service is the
backbone of a successful cooperation. With it, you will lose
business, but they do provide lucrative plans that are affordable,
but you get what you pay for.
Overall, Sprint is still struggling with many quality issues that
have placed them in the lowest ranking compared to their
competitors.
