In April 2016, the OSPA announced that Blain Peterson,
CPA, JD, CBA, became the new executive director of the
organization. He grew up in Del City, Oklahoma, and
earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and law
degree from the University of Oklahoma. He brings with
him more than 20 years of experience working on
taxation, business transactions, and estate planning. A
member of OSCPA for two decades, he chaired the
OSCPA’s taxation committee and was director at large on
its board of directors.
