/ Perfect Welding / Solar Energy / Perfect Charging
/ Fronius HyLOG-Fleet (Hydrogen powered Logistic System) is a hydrogen fuel cell
system for industrial trucks. The fuel cell is placed where usually the battery in intral-
ogistics vehicles is situated and it serves as a reliable provider of energy.
/ The potential applications of the HyLOG-Fleet system range from mobile industrial
applications to construction and agricultural machinery as well as municipal
vehicles.
YOUR ADVANTAGES
/ Compared with battery powered industrial trucks, the Fronius HyLOG-Fleet system convinces with several advantages:
HYLOG-FLEET
/ Innovative fuel cell technology for green intralogistics
HIGH AVAILABILITY
/ Using conventional technology the charging time accounts normally for seven to twelve hours.
With hydrogen technology the refuelling process will only take less than 2 minutes.
HIGH ENERGY EFFICIENCY
/ The fuel cell transforms gaseous hydrogen with atmospheric oxygen directly into electric energy.
REDUCED INFRASTRUCTURE
/ Saving additional infrastructure such as battery charging rooms, individual charging stations as
well as replacement batteries.
REDUCED MAINTENANCE EFFORT
/ The high maintenance of batteries as well as the effort for changing the batteries can be totally
avoided.
ZERO EMISSIONS
/ The HyLOG-Fleet offers not only an economic but also an environmentally friendly transport solu-
tion because the waste product of a fuel cell is only pure water and the conversion of hydrogen into
electric power is completely emission free.
ENERGY MANAGEMENT ABILITY
/ Hydrogen as a fuel for mobile industrial applications enables through storage a clean decoupling of
solar and wind generation and its utilisation.
/ Perfect Welding / Solar Energy / Perfect Charging

WE HAVE THREE DIVISIONS AND ONE PASSION: SHIFTING THE LIMITS OF POSSIBILITY.
/ Whether welding technology, photovoltaics or battery charging technology − our goal is clearly defined: to be the innovation leader. With around
3,300 employees worldwide, we shift the limits of what’s possible - our record of over 900 granted patents is testimony to this. While others progress
step by step, we innovate in leaps and bounds. Just as we’ve always done. The responsible use of our resources forms the basis of our corporate policy. ab14

FRONIUS FUEL CELL PROJECTS
E-LOG-Biofleet
/ The logistics provider DB Schenker is testing in-
dustrial trucks with fuel cell hybrid drive in
Hörsching, Austria and operates the first indoor
hydrogen fueling station in Europe.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
Wind2Hydrogen
/ The goal of this research project is generating hy-
drogen from wind power, store it temporarily and
use it as renewable energy source or fuel.
H2Intradrive
/ At BMW Leipzig, Germany the automobile man-
ufacturer explores together with Fronius, Linde
MH and the technical university Munich the us-
age of hydrogen-powered industrial trucks under
real conditions in their vehicle production.
ELAAN Project
/ Fronius develops a 10kW, 80V solution of a fuel
cell hybrid system of the next generation. An emis-
sion free municipal vehicle and a class 1 industrial
truck are going to demonstrate the capacity of this
new drive.
/ Note: The projects E-LOG-Biofleet, ELAAN and Wind2Hydrogen are supported by FFG, KLIEN and bmvit funds.
