files, copy-pasting information, steno graphing interviews, adjusting
fonts in presentations…) the intern collects his/her courage and asks for
a private talk with the supervisor, where he/she intends to speak
his/her mind.
The supervisor is generally a very busy person, who goes out of his way
and makes room for a meeting at noon, but decides to bring along
another colleague from the same department (who also wants to
discuss some private matters and is known to the intern as a rather
unpleasant fellow) to save some time.
This also makes the setting less confidential/personal, than the intern
(and perhaps the other employee, too) anticipated.
