The document provides sub plans for Thursday May 12, 2011. It includes instructions for 1st period intensive math, 3rd period and 5th period chorus, and 7th period computer class. The sub is asked to take attendance, assist students as needed, and focus computer class students on their class work rather than web browsing. The sub is also provided a contact number should any issues arise.
1. SUB PLANS FOR Thursday May 12, 2011
• Thank you for being here today for me.
• If you have any problems, please leave me a detailed message.
• In the music building, you can ask Ms. Haitin (the band director) for help.
• I hope you have a good day and thank you again for being here.
1st Period 700 Building, room 722 Intensive Math 7:45-8:45
• Take attendance.
• Take the traveling Math bag (found in my office). In it you will find
plastic sleeves with worksheets in it and a poster board with calculators
in it. Get out the plastic sleeves, they are numbered 1-9. The students
know which ones that they need to be working on.
• Some people are finished, they can study other subjects, since we have
finals coming up. Tiffany West can probably answer any questions that
you may not be able to. Jammie Pate can assist you with getting things
out and put away.
• All their work should be done ON THEIR OWN PAPER. THEY
SHOULD NOT MARK ON THE WORKSHEETS.
• Collect all worksheets, calculators and completed work at the end of the
period
3rd Period Music Building, room 111 Chorus 8:50-10:25
• Take attendance.
• Please go through all the songs in the folder. The order of the songs for
the concert is on a poster board that is magneted to the white board. Go
through all the songs, but the following songs need the most work:
Come to Me O My Love
Sing Me To Heaven
My Heart Will Go On
Count On Me
2. Thank You Soldiers
The Lord Bless You and Keep
Lunch 10:30-11:00
5th Period Music Building, room 111 Chorus 11:05-12:40
• Take attendance.
• Same as Period 3
7th Period 800 Building, room 812 Computer Class 12:45-2:20
• Take attendance
• These students are basically working on recovering math and English
credits on the computer. Float around and try to help them when you
can and try to keep them focused on the class work rather than searching
things on the web.
Thank you again for your help today. Please leave me a note to let me know how
things went. I will have plans for Thursday and Friday in by tomorrow morning.
