• Dr. Margaret Tyler remarks, “with
the chalky complexion goes;
fatness without fitness, sweating
without heat, bones without
strength, tissue of plus quantity
and minus quality, mere flabby,
bulky with weakness and
weariness”. Dr. Tyler remarks, it is
difficult to miss a Calcarea child.

constitution.
• Dr. Blackie refers especially a
description of children who are

where they are put and do not

• Blond hair.
• Light complexion, blue eyes,
fair skin.
• Pale, weak.
• Children with red face, flabby
muscles, who sweat easily
and take cold readily in
consequence.
• Curvature of bones especially
spine & long bones.
• Children have no disposition
to walk and will not try.

• Tall & slender, who are pre-disposed to lung diseases (Ref.
Allen).
• Neck and body may be scraggy.
• She comes in puffily and presents you with a froggy hands
that makes you shrink an you can spot Calc. Carb by the
hands (Ref. Dr. Tyler). Some-times they are of large nose.
• Pale, chalky complexion.
• Can’t bear tight clothing around middle.
• Looks physically strong but lacks motivation.
• Round appearance.
• Look and Diagnose:
o 3F: Fair, fat, flabby.
o Freezing.
o Slow, sluggish movement (compare: oyster-shell).
• Strong bony framework.
• Forehead is wide.
• Upper lip protruding.
• Develop wrinkles.
• The tips of fingers are square.
• Short limbed.

• The “shadow side” of Calc
is the terribly difficult, badly
behaved child.
• Temper tantrums of
screaming, ungovernable,
disobedient, “self willed”.

provocation.
• Stressed mostly from
overexertion of overwork
– mentally or physically.
