1. An Obituary to Mark David Freeth Beloved Son of Dave & Eileen
2. Mark was born on June 11 of 1960 This then is the first anniversary of his birthday after He passed away in his Mothers arms in the small hours of a Monday in July of 2006. So ending a long and brave fight against cancer. He is still sadly missed by us all. It does not get any easier as time passes. I republish this site in order to keep his memory alive. ‘Life’ goes on but it is not the same, every day we think of him. His children, Peter and Teri, his Mum, his Dad and beloved Sister Karen. Also scores of Relations and Friends, too numerous to mention. He still remains as an example to us all, at no time did he ever complain about his pain, or try and blame others. This year Terry & Denise have ‘run for life’ to raise funds for Cancer research. This is our way of fighting back.
3. Even in his darkest hour, he was always upbeat and positive, this attitude was much admired by his medical Staff. In the time that he had left in his life, he thought of others, he made himself a ’guinea pig’ so that other sufferers, who came later would gain from his treatment. Look up, you will see that a Bright new Star has lit up the Night Sky, it’s name is ‘MARK’

5. We’re here today, to share our grief, And to say goodbye, to Mark David Freeth. He was taken from us, by a terrible Cancer, “ Why?”, we may ask, only God knows the answer Under Mark’s feet there grew no moss At an early stage, he was his own Boss. He worked long hours, without a moan, And he bought two kids up, all on his own All credit to his parents, Eileen and Dave, For having a Son so incredibly brave. He fought so hard, as hard as he could. But the cancer beat him, Mark knew it would
6. Karen has lost a brother, And Dave, his only Son, Eileen held his hand, ‘as he passed’ Mark’s journey had begun. A journey that will be easier. By knowing his family can see, That Mark’s suffering is over now, And he’s completely pain free. You gave your family such pride, A pride that was second to none, To our lives without you (unbearable) But somehow it must be done
7. If there is a Heaven Mark. We know that’s where you are, Driving all around Heaven With L plates on your car. To His children Peter and Teri, Remember your Dad With Pride, All of your lives he’ll be with you Standing right there by your side. Mark’s pain has gone forever now, But ours will never end, We only hope that one day, Our broken hearts will mend.
8. Even though he was gravely ill, Mark had insisted that his son Peter went on his long planned holiday. Mark’s health took a turn for the worse so Peter had to try and return, in time, before his Father passed. Unfortunately, He failed to make it back in time……… Pat, penned this small paragraph of comfort for Peter. Your flight was sometime around seven. But your Dad’s Soul passed You on his way to Heaven. He saw you at the window of your plane as he went by, and said, ‘”sorry I missed You Son, but I really did try”
9. Dream Peacefully Mark. We will all, “ see you later!!” So, Go Now Mark, with our Blessing. Through the Heaven’s Gate, The family you’ve left behind “ Will always Love You Mate”
