Project Title: Nutrition Month
2025 Celebration
Theme: “Food at Nutrition
Security, Maging Priority!
Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan
Rationale:
July is declared as Nutrition Month under Presidential Decree No. 491, highlighting
the vital role of proper nutrition in nation-building. For this year 2025, the National
Nutrition Council (NNC) adopted the theme, "Food at Nutrition Security, Maging
Priority!", a timely reminder that access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food is
not a privilege but a right and a priority for every Filipino.
This celebration aims to amplify efforts in schools to educate learners and their
families on sustainable food systems, healthy eating practices, and the pressing
issue of food insecurity in many communities. Through engaging, creative, and
values-integrated activities, we seek to nurture a generation that is not only
nutritionally aware but also actively contributes to community wellness.
Objectives of the
Activity:
Specifically, this project aims to:
1.Promote the 2025 Nutrition Month
theme and its relevance to learners’
health and well-being.
2.Raise awareness on food and
nutrition security through learner-
centered competitions and
advocacy.
3.Encourage behavioral change
toward healthier food choices and
