Students are expected to demonstrate competency in numeracy skills up to and including grade level expectations. These numeracy standards outline the key areas of mathematics that students should master by the end of each grade, including number sense, measurement, geometry, algebra, statistics and probability. Teachers will use the numeracy performance standards to guide lesson planning and assessment to help students meet expectations.
