We’ve prepared a solution that contains 1 ppm* ( Copper and Iron ) and we will test them to see wither the reaction will take place and give us an indication of their presence or not.
Actually this method is a colorimetric method which is being done using HACH instrument to measure how much exactly the amount of metals in the samples but because of that we don’t have the instrument we will be fine with the indication without knowing the actual value.

2 The author's purpose and how I arrived at my decision
The author's purpose of this piece is to educate people that it is okay to be diverse, and no matter how different someone seems, they should be treated with respect. Our intelligence is judged by how we speak, which is why Amy's mother was disrespected by bank services, department stores, and restaurants. They even pretended like she had not been told because of her broken English. Tan could speak English, but her mother couldn't. The author explains her mother's challenges as an immigrant, which included people being rude to her and disrespectful. Her mother was discriminated against because of having imperfect English. Even though Tan could speak good English, she always spoke broken English with her mother. Speaking in broken English brought a connection and a strong bond between her and her mother. Therefore, this shows that people can be different, but this does not mean they should be mistreated. People should even be able to make it comfortable for diverse people. For example, the way Amy spoke to her mother in broken English just to be accommodating.
3 Key points that support the purpose
To begin with, Amy speaking to her mother in broken English to show that she can try to accommodate others by making them comfortable. Even when Amy is speaking with an audience in the Joy Luck Club about her book, she notices that her mother is in the audience. She realizes that the way she was talking, her mother will not hear and change. She also realized that her teachers were constantly pushing her towards maths and science. Even though she was good at English, the teachers always encouraged her to take math. She then decides to take English because she believes in English; there are more ways to express oneself, unlike maths. Finally, Amy used to pick calls for her mother and impersonate her. She was fluent in English, but she could speak broken English to show people that even if one is not like the rest, they should not be discriminated against. The author even acknowledges the impact of the mother tongue on her life. She says it is the mother tongue that shaped the way she saw things.

Tan's audience is the critics of her mother tongue and the people who discriminate against others for being different. In this area of study, there is nothing better for you as a student than to see what takes place first-hand. You will be writing 3 papers based on your experiences, as shown below:
· Visit a minimum of 2 meetings of Narcotics Anonymous (NA) for the second paper.
Most meetings are typically open to the public, but there are some that are closed, so make sure you plan accordingly. After each set of meetings (e.g., NA), you will write a paper based on your experiences and turn it in via Blackboard according to its due date in the Course Schedule.
NOTE: When you get to the meeting, ask who the leader/facilitator is and introduce yourself to him/her. Explain why you are there and get his/her okay to be present during the meeting. Reassure them that confidentiality will be maintained and that you are there to observe and learn. Most of the time, you will just listen quietly and respectfully. Sometimes they will ask you questions, but usually they will go around the group and talk about their issues. You are discouraged you from taking notes during the meeting (since you do not want to make the members uncomfortable); instead, wait until you get back home and write down your recollections, what took place, how things were run, members’ stories that stood out to you, etc. Hint: it would be wise to do a little research about the organization before you go to any meetings.
Each paper must be 6–7 pages (not including title and reference pages). [NOTE: References usually come from the books/materials that you can find at the meeting. We’ve prepared a solution that contains 1 ppm* ( Copper and Iron ) and we will test them to see wither the reaction will take place and give us an indication of their presence or not.
Actually this method is a colorimetric method which is being done using HACH instrument to measure how much exactly the amount of metals in the samples but because of that we don’t have the instrument we will be fine with the indication without knowing the actual value.

2 The author's purpose and how I arrived at my decision
The author's purpose of this piece is to educate people that it is okay to be diverse, and no matter how different someone seems, they should be treated with respect. Our intelligence is judged by how we speak, which is why Amy's mother was disrespected by bank services, department stores, and restaurants. They even pretended like she had not been told because of her broken English. Tan could speak English, but her mother couldn't. The author explains her mother's challenges as an immigrant, which included people being rude to her and disrespectful. Her mother was discriminated against because of having imperfect English. Even though Tan could speak good English, she always spoke broken English with her mother. Speaking in broken English brought a connection and a strong bond between her and her mother. Therefore, this shows that people can be different, but this does not mean they should be mistreated. People should even be able to make it comfortable for diverse people. For example, the way Amy spoke to her mother in broken English just to be accommodating.
3 Key points that support the purpose
To begin with, Amy speaking to her mother in broken English to show that she can try to accommodate others by making them comfortable. Even when Amy is speaking with an audience in the Joy Luck Club about her book, she notices that her mother is in the audience. She realizes that the way she was talking, her mother will not hear and change. She also realized that her teachers were constantly pushing her towards maths and science. Even though she was good at English, the teachers always encouraged her to take math. She then decides to take English because she believes in English; there are more ways to express oneself, unlike maths. Finally, Amy used to pick calls for her mother and impersonate her. She was fluent in English, but she could speak broken English to show people that even if one is not like the rest, they should not be discriminated against. The author even acknowledges the impact of the mother tongue on her life. She says it is the mother tongue that shaped the way she saw things.

· Visit a minimum of 2 meetings of Narcotics Anonymous (NA) for the second paper.
Most meetings are typically open to the public, but there are some that are closed, so make sure you plan accordingly. After each set of meetings (e.g., NA), you will write a paper based on your experiences and turn it in via Blackboard according to its due date in the Course Schedule.
NOTE: When you get to the meeting, ask who the leader/facilitator is and introduce yourself to him/her. Explain why you are there and get his/her okay to be present during the meeting. Reassure them that confidentiality will be maintained and that you are there to observe and learn. Most of the time, you will just listen quietly and respectfully. Sometimes they will ask you questions, but usually they will go around the group and talk about their issues.
