This talk is about my own experience working with partners abroad. We will begin our journey in the corridors of Federal University of Paraiba, where someone asked to me if I could receive foreign students in my research lab. So, later in 2011, two students and Professor Damian Schofield showed to us a little bit more about SUNY-Oswego. In the other hand, I invited Professor Damian to attend some live surgeries in the Academic Hospital Lauro Wanderley and this was just the beginning. The research possibilities increased and also our enthusiasm. The first results, more students from Oswego arriving in Brazil. The next steps brought me to Oswego, where I am living right now. In the end of 2012, the brazilian program: "Science without Borders" made possible to spend a year working in Oswego. More enthusiasm, more results, more students, more partners abroad, more people working without borders.

The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. - 2. THE WOMAN IN THE 50S The Final of the World War II and many revolutions in that time changed the industry of fashion and the refuge of the women was the house. The “look” of the 50s was the perfect housewife.
- 3. WHAT DID THEY WEAR? The tight dress was very common in this time, with the dress, they used to wear belt. They wore it for to highlight their waist . As this clothes, the gloves were also indispensable. They had to wear a scarf in the hair if they would drive a car. The underwear was armed bra. All of women put on make-up, for it they used a lot of colors, especially turquoise in the eyes and orange in the lips. The colors of the eyes had to go well with their handbags.

- 6. NOW I think there are more varieties of clothes now .Women don´t only can to wear dress, we also wear skirts, mini-skirts, trousers, jeans....The government allow to wear all manner of clothes. Now the style is the funniest , because each girl want to search her own style. Young and no-young like to wear dress more tighter than before and we also like the trousers and jeans more tight. Most of young like to wear skirts more shorter than the 50s. Now women don´t need to put on make-up for come out . The colours of make-up go with the clothes or handbags. The colours change depending of the time.
