2. • The Network Operators Group of Nepal npNOG started its journey from
2016, is an informal initiative and a forum run by community to discuss
about internet engineering, architecture and operational challenges that are
essential to run and develop the internet in Nepal.
• npNOG is here to work with community to get aware of technology, internet
and communication by conducting conferences, training, education,
knowledge sharing and networking within the Internet community.

5. • npNOG has successfully organized 3 versions of workshops and conference
yet.
• Dec 9, 2016 Stared npNOG v1 with a conference at Hotel Himalaya with
total participants of 250+
• Dec 10- 12, 2016- 2 technical workshops tracks on SOHO Network Design
and Optical Fiber Network.
• Total workshop participants was 53 at Yellow Pagoda, Kathmandu.
6. • npNOG v2 on June 2017 at
Kathmandu stated that all even
version will doing at Kathmandu with
all the local and international
participants and the Odd version will
be on outside Kathmandu valley.
• Conducted 3 different workshops
tracks: IPv4/IPv6 Routing, Network
Management/Monitoring and Optical
Fiber Network Design dated on 15th
-17th June 2017 at Yellow Pagoda,
Kathmandu.
• Total participants of 115+
• Followed by Full day conference with
total participants of 350+ dated on 18th
June 2017 at Hotel Malla, Kathmandu.
7. • npNOG v3 Dec 9, 2017 at Bharatpur Garden Resort, Chitwan, Bharatpur,
Conducted 3 Workshops tracks: Network Administration, System
Administration and IPv6 Deployment with all together participants of 62 for
2 and half days.
• Dec 11, 2017 a conference with participants of 150+.
• npNOG is with the plan to continue organizing such technical workshops
and conferences all over the places of Nepal as similar to the last one v3, we
did in Chitwan out of Kathmandu Valley.
