- 2. Our Aim… Our aim is to stop the poverty that occurs after war, when people’s houses and lives are destroyed. The reason that we chose this is because we think that if the whole world pulls together, we can get enough money to put families in Afghanistan for example into homes, and not slums after war. We also hope to raise enough money to rebuild schools so the children can have their education. We will mostly help countries like Afghanistan.
- 3. Why We Chose This Issue • We chose to do about poverty after war because we know that war is one of the main causes of poverty, and though we can’t stop war, we can raise money for the people who’s houses are bombed and destroyed.
- 4. Facts A lot of poverty is a a result of war. In Afghanistan, there are more and more people who’s already-small shelters are being destroyed every second. We know we can’t stop the war but we can at least give people safe shelter, but only if YOU help us raise money. 70% of Afghanistan live in poverty and most of that is due to the war.
- 5. How we will succeed in our mission... We have many ways of getting the money we need, for example: We will sell t-shirts and bracelets, that will look like these we have made. We will get money by people taking part in sponsored activities. As well as this, we will go around with a bucket and collect loose change from people, simple things make a difference.
