financially strong and the second his childhood best friend’s father was rich and an entrepreneur who
dropped out of school at a young age, was one of the richest men in Hawaii. Both fathers told me how
to achieve success. The name of the book comes from Kiyosaki's real father. The author often tried to
understand the point of view of both his rich father and his poor father. However, his rich father's advice
helped him gain knowledge of finance and amass wealth. The book's concept presents cash flow,
balance sheet, income statement, and liabilities in a simple manner that everyone can easily
understand. The author's desire is for everyone to be taught the basics of finance from childhood. Rich
dad poor dad has 10 chapters but much of the book is focused on the first 6 parts and an epilogue
chapter contains simple explanations of basic finance concepts, often followed by illustrations and
