This document summarizes a seminar presentation about measuring the forward-backward asymmetry in top quark pair production using data from CDF at Fermilab's Tevatron collider. It discusses the theoretical predictions for this asymmetry, previous measurements, an overview of Fermilab and CDF, techniques for event reconstruction and measurement of the asymmetry using the hadronic top quark rapidity. The measurement finds an asymmetry of 17% using 3.2 fb-1 of CDF data, which is larger than but consistent with theoretical predictions from the standard model.
