This document is a newsletter from the principal of a school to parents announcing the end of the school year and providing important dates. It celebrates the students' achievements over the year. It provides the last day of school, first day of the new year, and class lists will be posted. It also includes information about accounts, stationery, uniforms, and library books and reminds parents of events like the prizegiving and upcoming holidays.

1. Dear Parents/Caregivers,
It is quite unbelievable to think the School year
is drawing to an end as Christmas rapidly
approaches.
We have had a wonderful week celebrating our
student achievements and enjoying watching the
School Production where the children have
showcased the wide range of talent that they
have. Again a huge thanks to the staff for
making it such a success and one of our School
highlights.

Thank you all again for your fantastic support
over the past year. On behalf of the Staff, I

teaching in our Senior School next year.
Please note the last day in Term 4 will be
determined by the number of Teacher Only Days
during the year.

CLASS LISTS FOR 2014
School starts at 9.00am on Tuesday 28 January
2014.
All students should look for the class lists which
will be displayed on the Main Office window on the
first day back. These lists will tell you which Room
your child will be in and children should go straight
to their new class to be ready to start at 9.00am.
Due to enrolments over the holidays, we cannot
confirm classes for next year before this time.

2: 5 May – 4 July
3: 21 July – 26 September
4: 13 October – 11 December
SCHOOL ACCOUNTS

Thank you again for the fantastic effort most of
you have made to finalise your School Account.
All accounts unpaid now, are overdue.
All accounts outstanding when school finishes,
will be forwarded to Southern Debt Collectors
unless an Automatic Payment has been set up
with the School Office. Please ring Sue in the
Office if you have any queries about your
Account.
STATIONERY 2013
Stationery Lists for students will be given
out with the Reports. Extra copies of these
lists are available from the School Office
the week before school starts from Tuesday
21 January, or they will be available on the
School Website.

2. CANTEEN NEWS
The School Canteen will close on Wednesday 11
December for the 2013 school year.
PHILIPPINES MUFTI DAY
On Thursday 12 December we will be having a
Mufti Day. Students should bring a gold coin
donation. Money from this Mufti Day will be
donated to the Emergency fund to help victims
of the Haiyan Typhoon.
SECOND-HAND UNIFORMS
The School operates a service where we
accept second-hand uniforms and sell them on
your behalf. If you have uniform items you
wish to sell, bring it to the Office and leave it
for Mrs Maher with the price you want for the
item/s. She will collate and then have these
items for sale at the start of the 2014 School
Year.
PARENTS SUPPORT GROUP FUNDRAISER

A big thank you from the Principal and
staff for all the lovely cards and warm
Christmas wishes that have been sent
to us over the past month. It is much
appreciated. The yummy food and
chocolate have been great
energy and sustenance
for us for the end of Term.
LIBRARY BOOKS
The Library is now closed for its annual Stocktake.
Any Library books you have at home will be very
gratefully received back at school. this also applies
to any School Journals or Reading Books you may
have at home. It is very important we have these
for our Stocktake. We would appreciate the return
of any school items you may uncover in your Summer
Clean-up.
YEAR 7/8 PRIZEGIVING
This will be held in the School Hall at 1.30pm on
Wednesday 11 December. All parents are very
welcome to attend.
