Ezekiel receives a word from God on the exact day that Nebuchadnezzar begins his siege of Jerusalem, even though Ezekiel was hundreds of miles away in Babylon. God commands Ezekiel to write down the date - the 10th day of the 10th month in the 9th year - as this siege fulfills Ezekiel's prophecies of Jerusalem's destruction. Ezekiel then shares a parable of a boiling pot representing Jerusalem, with the people inside representing its inhabitants, to illustrate how God will punish the city for its sins by allowing Nebuchadnezzar to destroy it through war. Scholars note the significance of Ezekiel receiving this precise information from God as proof of his prophetic gift.

The document discusses the origins of Christmas and winter solstice celebrations. It explains that Saturnalia, an ancient Roman festival held on December 17th-23rd involving feasting, role reversals and gift giving, was a precursor to Christmas. It was later changed to December 25th by Emperor Domitian. The document also discusses the Roman solar festival of Dies Natalis Solis Invicti on December 25th and how Christianity may have replaced these winter solstice festivals. It covers the use of Christmas trees originating from pagan practices condemned by the prophet Jeremiah and the biblical concept of the New Year given to Israel.
The document discusses several signs that indicate we are living in the end times based on biblical prophecy:
1) The Euphrates River being dried up allows Turkey to control its flow, fulfilling Revelation 16:12.
2) China now has an army large enough at 200 million to fulfill the prophecy in Revelation 9:15-16.
3) The emergence of worldwide numbering systems like Social Security numbers means everyone can now be tracked, fulfilling Revelation 13:16-17.
4) Terms like "new world order" show the rise of a one-world government as prophesied in Revelation 13:7 and Daniel 7:23.

The document discusses prophecies and divine messages that identify the author as the "Lord of Spirits" and urge following his instructions. It references dreams and signs involving deities, and warns that ignoring the author will result in plagues and famine. It claims media forces wrongly accuse the author and promote cruelty, and calls for recognizing his identity as predicted and shown by signs in the sky.
The document discusses signs that indicate we are living in the end times prior to Jesus' return as described in the Bible. It mentions the creation of Israel in 1948 and Jewish control of Jerusalem in 1967 as fulfilling biblical prophecies. It also lists increasing natural disasters like earthquakes, famines, diseases and abnormal weather as signs of the end times. It describes societal moral decline, rise of false teachings, wars and unrest as further signs everything is leading to Jesus' second coming.

In this sermon we explore how to overcome betrayal. Betrayal is typically a wound intentionally inflicted by a friend. That is what makes it especially painful. We will consider two of the worst examples of betrayal in the Bible, the betrayal of David by his most trusted advisor Athithophel and the betrayal of Zechariah by King Joash. We will also consider parallels to Jesus' betrayal by Judas. Finally, we will look at four ways to handle betrayal and overcome the pain that results.
The document discusses the symbolism and meaning behind elements of the Jewish Passover feast as they relate to Jesus instituting the Lord's Supper. It explains that during the Passover meal, Jesus used the bread and wine to represent his body and blood that would be sacrificed, establishing the tradition of communion. Key elements of the Passover like the lamb, matzah bread, and removing leaven are analyzed for their spiritual significance in pointing to Jesus as the ultimate sacrifice who redeems believers from sin.

The document is a sermon about Jesus being the true shepherd according to John 10. It discusses how Jesus contrasts himself with false shepherds by being the door to the sheepfold and calling each sheep by name. Shepherding was a familiar image in the Bible used to depict God and spiritual leaders caring for his people. The sermon examines the shepherding metaphor throughout scripture and how it points to Jesus the ultimate shepherd.
The document discusses theories about the Second Advent or return of Jesus Christ based on interpretations of biblical passages. It explores different perspectives on whether the Second Advent will be a physical or spiritual event, and where it may occur. Specifically, it argues that Christ will return through being born in the flesh in an Eastern nation, not among the Jewish people as some believe, based on passages indicating he will come from the east. It also discusses theories about the meaning of Christ returning "on the clouds" and why Jesus used that language. The document analyzes different interpretations of prophecies around Christ's Second Advent in an attempt to clarify details about how and where it may happen.
This document provides a critique of millennialism and post-tribulation rapture theology from a Christian Identity perspective. It argues that Revelation describes a single judgment day, not two with a 1000 year period between. It also claims that mainstream Christianity misunderstands prophecy because it falsely believes Jews are God's chosen people, when the Celto-Saxons are actually chosen. Further, it asserts that most churches have been deceived and are unwittingly allied with Satan by supporting Israel and Jewish interests over Christ.
The document discusses recent events that appear to fulfill biblical end times prophecies. It summarizes prophecies about the drying of the Euphrates River, an army of 200 million soldiers from China, and a worldwide numbering system. It notes that these prophecies are being fulfilled simultaneously, rather than coincidentally. It also announces an upcoming prophecy tour to Israel and Jordan from November 3-13, 2003.
This document provides an overview of Jesus as the true shepherd based on a sermon given at First Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi. It discusses how the Old Testament prophets foretold of the Messiah being a shepherd for God's people. Several Bible passages are presented that depict Jesus as the shepherd, including his words in John 10 where he contrasts himself as the true shepherd who enters through the door versus thieves who climb over the wall. The document explores the cultural significance of shepherding and sheepfolds in biblical times to understand Jesus' metaphor.

LETTER TO THE
BROTHERS AND
SISTERS IN CHRIST
【MANʼS SIN REFLECTED IN TODAYʼS
DYING WORLD】
Lord, you have been our dwelling-place
throughout all generations. Before the mountains
were born or you brought forth the earth and the
world, from ever lasting to everlasting you are God.
You turn men back to dust, saying, “Return to dust, O
sons of men.” For a thousand years in your sight are
like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the
night. You sweep men away in the sleep of death; they
are like the new grass of the morning— through in
the morning it springs up new, by evening it is dry and
withered.
We are consumed by your anger and terrified by
your indignation. You have set our iniquities before
you, our secret sins in the light of your presence. All
our days pass away under your wrath; we finish our
years with a moan. The length of our days is seventy
years— or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their
span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass,
and we fly away.
Who knows the power of your anger? For your
wrath is as great as the fear that is due to you. Teach
us to number our days alright, that we may gain a
heart of wisdom.
Relent, O LORD! How long will it be? Have
compassion on your servants. Satisfy us in the
morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing
for joy and be glad all our days. Make us glad for as
many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years
as we have seen trouble. May your deeds be shown to
your servants, your splendour to their children.
May the favour of the Lord our God rest upon us;
establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish
the work of our hands. PSALM 90.

Last month we examined how this world, the entire creation, is continuing to “deselect” more through
disease, which means that it is increasingly under the effects of decay and corruption, contrary to the
Darwinian philosophy that living forms find a way to improve and survive by increasing their functional
and biological mechanisms. There is plenty of information available today to prove that God’s perfect
creation became plagued with diseases and death after man’s sin. Scripture claims that because of man’s
sin the whole universe has been cursed, and this fact is accurately reflected in today’s dying world as Paul
depicted: ‘The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation
was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope
that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom
of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth
right up to the present time’ (Ro.8:19-22).
We will continue to pick up some interesting scientific articles this month as well. Brian Thomas, a
science writer at the Institute for Creation Research puts it in the article under the title of “New Genomes
Project Data Indicate a Young Human Race” posted on 9th November, 2010: ‘In 2008, an extensive
international effort was begun to sequence in unprecedented detail over 1,000 representative
human genomes from around the world. The results of three preliminary pilot projects were
published in October 2010—one of which uncovered a result that points to a youthful age for the
human race. In this pilot project, researchers examined in great detail the DNA base sequences
from two families, including the mother, father, and child of each. A summary of the results
appeared in Science, which stated that based on the data, "offspring inherit about 60 mutations
that arose in their parents"……The measurement of close to 60 new mutations occurring within
the reproductive cells of each generation is less than a prior estimate of 100. This figure can
help answer key questions. For example, does this number of mutations provide enough "fuel"
for change to have innovated modern humanity from primate ancestors? Also, can the
potentially harmful effects of this rate of mutation accumulation be somehow reversed before too
many incorrect DNA bases compromise humanity's survival? Currently, the most accurate way
to answer these questions is to use the freely downloadable population genetics modeling
program called Mendel's Accountant [Mendel's Accountant: Simulating Genetic Change Over Time.
Posted on mendelsaccount.sourceforge.net, accessed November 2, 2010]. Developed by a team of
scientists, including Cornell University plant geneticist John Sanford, the program calculates the
cumulative effects on the fitness (average survivability) of individuals that inherit mutations—
some beneficial, some harmful, but mostly neutral—over multiple generations. The study of
mutations that have no, or almost no, effect has presented a longstanding problem for
evolutionary biology. Since these near-neutral mutations produce such tiny effects in cells, they
do not appreciably affect any trait that is expressed in the organism. Therefore, these mutations
are undetectable by any imagined natural process and simply add up over the generations.
Mendel's Accountant can simulate, with unprecedented biological accuracy, the result of this
accumulation. Assuming a population size of 2,000 individuals, assuming that each mother has
six children, and using the rate of 60 mutations per generation in the algorithms, the simulation
shows the extinction of the human race after only 350 generations. This also assumes that
natural selection would have been effective at removing the least fit from the population every
generation. If this result is anywhere close to correct—that humanity's genetic mutations would
have led to extinction within 350 generations—how could that possibly fit within evolution's long
ages? But if the total age of the world is about 6,000 years, as is consistent with biblical history,
then mankind has been here for fewer than 300 generations [In reality, the number of generations
since creation is smaller, since the average generation time among pre-Flood peoples was 117 years, not
20. Factoring this in yields about 231 generations from creation to 2010 A.D]. Thus, the latest and most
accurate research into human genetics confirms a straightforward reading of the biblical account
of origins and human history’. Thomas also writes in the article titled “Mutational Buildup Indicates
Living Populations Are Young”: ‘It has been calculated that with 100 mutations per 20-year
generation, the human genome would not last much longer than 500 generations. Because
mutational buildup acts as a clock ticking down toward extinction, and because so many animals
have yet to reach that point, this is strong evidence that life on earth is only thousands, not
millions, of years old’ (www.icr.org/science/).

The following is an excerpt adapted from Henry Morris’ article “Recent Creation Is a Vital Doctrine”
in the June 1984 edition of Acts & Facts, where Morris advocates a literal interpretation of Scripture, i.e.,
the creation days were 24-hour days, and not indefinite periods, such as the geological-ages: ‘There is no
aspect of creationism which is under greater attack by evolutionists than the biblical doctrine of recent creation. The
evolutionist, knowing the weakness of the scientific case for evolution, almost always directs his own argument not
against creation per se, but against recent creation and its corollary, Flood geology. As a result, many people who
consider themselves creationists have been intimidated against this biblical concept. Instead, they try to cling to the
19th-century evolutionary compromise now known as the "day-age theory" and "progressive creation."……We
"young-earth creationists" are an embarrassment to both the progressive creationists and the gap creationists and so
they urge us to acknowledge that recent creation is merely an optional interpretation which is unimportant and
expendable…… When the biblical and theological data are also considered (as in a church or other Christian context),
the doctrine of recent creation becomes critically significant, integrally interwoven with the doctrine of creation itself.
Outlined below, very briefly, are a few of the reasons why the doctrine of recent creation is vitally important to true
biblical Christianity.
Historical Reasons "Progressive creationism" is not a modern interpretation developed to bring the Genesis record
into harmony with modern science, but a very ancient concept devised to impose a theistic connotation upon the
almost universal pagan evolutionary philosophies of antiquity……Compromising monotheists, both in ancient Israel
and in the early Christian church, repeatedly resorted to various allegorical interpretations of Scripture, involving some
form of protracted creation, seeking to amalgamate creationist/redemptionist theology with pagan humanistic
philosophy. Almost inevitably, however, such compromises ended in complete apostasy on the part of the
compromisers……
Theological Reasons Even if one does not accept the Bible as the inerrant Word of God, the concept of a
personal, omnipotent, omniscient, loving God is fatally flawed by the old-earth dogma…… It should be obvious that
the God of the Bible would create everything complete and good, right from the start. The wastefulness and
randomness and cruelty which is now so evident in the world (both in the groaning creation of the present and in the
fossilized world of the past) must represent an intrusion into His creation, not a mechanism for its accomplishment.
God would never do a thing like that, except in judgment of sin!...... Surely all those who really believe in the God of
the Bible should see that any compromise with the geological-age system is theological chaos. Whether the
compromise involves the day-age theory or the gap theory, the very concept of the geological ages implies divine
confusion and cruelty, and the God of the Bible could not have been involved in such a thing as that at all.
Biblical Reasons As far as the biblical record itself is concerned, there is not the slightest indication anywhere in
Scripture that the earth endured long ages before the creation of Adam and Eve. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself said:
"But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female" (Mark 10:6). The crystal-clear statement of
the Lord in the Ten Commandments completely precludes the day-age interpretation of the six days of
creation……(Exodus 20:8-11) If God's six work days were not the same kind of days as the six days of man's work
week, then God is not able to say what He means. The language could hardly be more clear and explicit. Note also its
further confirmation later in the book……(Exodus 31:17-18)……Still further, the record of the six days of creation
concludes with the statement by God that everything in His creation was "very good" at the end of the six days
(Genesis 1:31). There is no way this could be harmonized with a worldwide fossil graveyard a mile deep all around
the earth. The Bible makes it plain, in fact, that death never even entered the world until Adam sinned (Romans 5:12;
1 Corinthians 15:21) and brought God's curse on the ground (Genesis 3:17; Romans 8:20-22).
Scientific Reasons Those who insist on accommodating the geological ages, despite all the biblical, theological,
and historical arguments against them, do so on the grounds that "science" requires it……For that matter, the earth
does not really look old anyway. Evolutionists have tried to make it look old by imposing the unscriptural and
unscientific dogma of uniformitarianism on the geologic record of earth history as preserved in the rocks of the earth's
crust. The fact is that geologists are today finally abandoning their outmoded 19th-century uniformitarianism, realizing
that catastrophism provides the only realistic explanation for the great geological structures of the earth……they do
recognize now that the earth's various geological features were each formed rapidly……The continued insistence on
an ancient earth is purely because of the philosophic necessity to justify evolution and the pantheistic religion of
eternal matter. If it were not for the continued apathetic and compromising attitude of Christian theologians and
other intellectuals on this vital doctrine of recent creation, evolutionary humanism would long since have been
exposed and defeated……’ (Line added, www.icr.org/article/5360/).
The passage quoted from Psalms 90 at the beginning of this letter is a prayer psalm by Moses, in
which Moses implicitly or explicitly states some important biblical doctrines of divine creationism. It

starts with a sharp contrast between the greatness of an everlasting God and the littleness of mortal man.
Reinforced is the transience of man’s ‘all generations’, i.e., the entire created things, compared with
man’s eternal ‘dwelling-place’, God Himself, in which God formed man from dust and man is to return to
dust as the book of Genesis proclaims. Even those who lived before the global flood and whose life-span
was nearly millennial came to death without exception. Jews believe that the entire human history should
be correlated to God’s six day creation and the seventh day rest illustrated in Genesis, and they interpret
that the creation days represent 6,000 years of human history and God’s Sabbath rest represents the
Messiah’s Millennial age as here in verse 4: ‘For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has
just gone by, or like a watch in the night’, Moses implies it. Peter made reference to this verse as well:
‘But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a
thousand years are like a day’ (2Pe.3:8). We are very much approaching the end of the sixth millennium
of human history and if Moses also implies in verses 10-11: ‘The length of our days is seventy years— or
eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we
fly away. Who knows the power of your anger?’ that the last generation should be between seventy and
eighty years, and those years after seventy will be the years of tribulation, indeed, we need to learn how to
‘number our days alright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom’ so as to prepare ourselves for the Lord’s
Coming. The faithful believers of Christ know His appearance will be His second coming, and the Jewish
remnant will realise that their Messiah has already come once as the New Testament clearly proclaims and
they will cry out ‘Relent, O LORD! How long will it be?’ in the midst of their tribulation.
While today’s advanced medical and environmental technology tends to reinforce the illusion that man
could achieve immortality, God’s statement is more than clear: ‘Just as man is destined to die once, and
after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he
will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him’
(He.9:27, Line added). The Bible does not support the idea of reincarnation and all man must die as a
result of sin. We are destined to be mortal because of God’s indignation. God is angry because of our
sinfulness. Why has there been such a steep decline in life expectancy of ‘seventy years— or eighty’ in
verse 10 from the nearly thousand years at the beginning of Scripture? Such are the wages of sin. So,
Moses teaches us six prayer points that humble penitents should make to the eternal God, once we
acknowledge ourselves a sinner needing to be forgiven by Him as David confessed: ‘Then I
acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions
to the LORD” — and you forgave the guilt of my sin’ (Ps.32:5). 1) ‘Teach us’. The knowledge of our
sinfulness is the heart of wisdom. 2) ‘Relent’. While death is inevitable for the unrepentant sinners, God
has assured a repentant sinner of the hope of redemption. 3) ‘Satisfy with joy and gladness’, and the
covenant of love of God enables us, ‘sinners’ to make it. 4) ‘Make us glad with blessings in proportion to
our afflictions’. The knowledge that the eternal glory far outweighs our present light and momentary
troubles helps us not to lose heart because ‘though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are
being renewed day by day’ (2Co.4:16). 5) ‘Reveal Himself and His deeds’ and 6)‘May His favour rest
upon us’. God who blesses ‘sinners’ despite their sin will finally let them see victory over death, as the
apostle Paul writes: ‘When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with
the immortality…“death has been swallowed up in victory.” “…Where, O death, is your sting?” the
sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory
through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers…Always give yourselves fully to the work
of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain’ (1Co.15:54-58).
Concerning Psalm 90, there is also an interesting interpretation that correlates to the six thousand year
human history and the future Great Sabbath Rest, i.e., Messiah’s Millennium Reign. Verses 1 to 4
represent the first millennium when the universe was created. Verse 5a referring to the flood represents the
second millennium when Noah’s Flood took place. Verses 5b to 7 represent the third millennium during
which Abraham was chosen as God’s righteous witness and the Exodus took place. Verses 8 to 10b
represent the fourth during which Israel’s monarchy started and the Exile took place. Verses 10c to 11
represent the fifth during which the Messiah was crucified and the gospel spread. Verses 12 to 13
represent the sixth when two World Wars took place. Verses 14 onwards to the end represent Christ’
Millennium Kingdom, which we are looking forward to entering into in the near future.
