- NextPlane Federation Server is currently focused on IM and Presence federation solution across MS OCS, MS LS, Jabber, and IBM Sametime. Unlike UC gateways which provide federation at a server level, NextPlane Federation Server acts as an enterprise level aggregation, or focal point for establishing all UC and EIM federations. NextPlane Federation Server is not required on federated partner side.In the current release we are supporting UC/EIM Platforms, and in the upcoming release we are planning to add support for AOL, Yahoo and GT federation.
