1. Newsletter Ängsbacka
December 2010
Christmas time at Ängsbacka
It is Christmas Eve in a week. The newsletter
has a new design and technical platform. The
volunteers arrive at SingelJul and New Year's
Festival. Follow up on the preparations, Arjun
(a magical photographer) upload new pictures
every day of our album.
In the middle of all preparations Ängsbacka
has some economic issues to be fixed. Those
of you who read the member letter knows
this. Ängsbacka must meet government
requirements to invest in increased fire
protection for approximately 700 000 SEK.
The situation is serious if not catastrophic as it
may have felt it in the letter. We handle this
by, among other things, openening to anyone
who wants to contribute. We have therefore
started a donation campaign "Together We Can Make It!". To date, 12 000
SEK has been collected and what it looks like we will get a personal loan
of 500 000 SEK for dealing with fire protection that we need to invest in
before the summer. Read more about what you can do and follow
developments on our website.
If you want to be a volunteer, coordinator and coach in the summer of
2011 can now register your interest in this. Our leadership training
Ängsbacka Leadership Intensive for volunteer coordinators will be the best
ever and we welcome old and new coordinators welcome. Register your
interest in ali@angsbacka.se or call the office. The registration period ends
on 28 February 2011.
We are also looking for new staff to Ängsbacka, a kitchen worker and a
housekeeper assistant. A great opportunity for those who want more
Ängsbacka in their life.
Give yourself a nice Christmas gift and book a place on Single Christmas -
2. a fine opportunity to both celebrate Christmas in a cozy and intimate way,
and open up new contacts. There will be workshops,
meetings, midnadssmässa, music - everything on your wish
list for a wonderful Christmas! Among other things, the singer

artists such as Khalid Habib, Mattias Holmgren and Treq.
New Year's festival is Ängsbackas way to celebrate the transition to the
new year and it looks to have participation record this year. Many people
want to celebrate with us - with open hearts and a large dose of
playfulness and fun.
