The Tech Flex Leaders program by New York On Tech provides underserved NYC high school students access to technical training, mentorship, and professional opportunities to pursue degrees and careers in technology. The program aims to address the growing skills gap, as there will be 1 million unfilled technology jobs by 2020 despite only 2.4% of students graduating with computer science degrees and just 10% of high schools offering related courses. New York On Tech is a nonprofit committed to developing, mentoring, and supporting low-opportunity students interested in technology careers.

OUR CHALLENGE
The Tech Flex Leaders program is an immersive
experience for NYC high school students. The
program offers students access to the technical
development, dedicated mentorship and
professional opportunities that create access to
degrees and careers in technology.
OUR PROGRAM
By 2020, there will be 1.4 million jobs available in
technology and 1 million of those jobs will go
unfilled. Less than 2.4% of students graduate with
a degree in computer and information science and
only 10% of high schools in the U.S. offer computer
and information science courses.
