This document provides guidance on a new tagging strategy for Community Sherpa. It recommends focusing tags on long-tail searches rather than broad keywords. Tags should link the blog to individual posts and be used consistently to build authority. Exercises demonstrate proper tagging practice, such as using 5-10 property-specific tags per post and avoiding previously used tags. Moving forward, teams will create pre-determined tag lists for each property and only use those approved tags.
