Improved ventilated storage structures for onions feature bottom ventilation to allow for free air circulation and prevent humid pockets from forming between onion layers. Side and roof ventilation is also included to allow for air flow and prevent high temperatures inside. Stacking height is dependent on weather conditions, ranging from 75-120 cm. Multiple smaller storage units constructed in a zigzag pattern provide better aeration than a single large structure.
