Subject: New Department Administrative Assistant

It is with great pleasure that I can announce that Anja Faehse has accepted our offer to become our
new department Administrative Assistant. Anja has been with BayCare since August of 2015 as both
a Department Secretary for the East Region and Construction Services Finance Tech (now
Construction Assistant).
She has been somewhat “hidden” at St. Joe Hospital but will be moving to the new BISC at the end of
this week.
Previously Anja, spent 11 years in various administrative positions with Hillsborough County Aging
Services Department and Hillsborough County Public Utilities Department. In addition to her full
time duties at BayCare, Anja is also pursuing classes that will allow her to eventually move into
nursing and patient care.
Anja will be working with Diane Hein to transition into the position of the next few days. Please take
a moment to congratulate Anja on her promotion and welcome her into this new position.
I would also like to take this opportunity to express our great appreciation to Diane Hein. Diane has
been at BayCare for 11 years and has served as the face of the construction department for all of
those years – working with a number of different management teams and working thru a number of
management transitions. On a personal note, she was invaluable to me as Interim Director. On
August 29th
, Diane moved into a new position as the Facilities Coordinator for the West Region,
working with Ed Smolik. During September, Diane continued to handle many of the department
Admin duties in addition to her duties as the Facilities Coordinator. Please take a moment out of
your busy day and personally thank Diane for her dedication and contributions to our department.
Diane, we will miss you!
