The NVIROMON is an environmental monitoring and control system that allows remote monitoring of devices and environmental conditions in datacenters and remote sites. It senses when conditions exceed thresholds and sends alerts. It can also control reactions to contain damage from certain conditions. It monitors temperature, humidity, flooding, air flow, and fluid levels using sensors. It can also detect fires and control fire extinguishers. It redirects communications to managed devices and controls secure access to sites using biometrics, RFID, and sensors. It reports violations of conditions via SNMP, SMS, email, and alarms.
