Comparison of Masonry structure with framed structure: The project work deals with developing
comparative statements of cost, between Masonry and Framed structures; by Planning, Design and
Estimation for the same plan of a residential building for G+2storeyes.usually people will have confusion
while building a house, as to go for Framed or Masonry structure. If the soil condition is considerably
good and if the vertical height is limited to G+2 floors then one can go for masonry structure. If the
requirementof the clientismore thanG+2 floorsthenone can go for framedstructure.
This project will give a clear picture of the cost construction for the above two construction technologies
for the same plan with vertical height of G+2 floors. Various comparative statements can be drawn from
the estimationof variousitemsinvolvedin the construction.
