National Public School in Gopalapuram was founded in 1970 by Dr. K. P. Gopalkrishna and Dr. Santhamma Gopalkrishna. The school is located in Gopalapuram and has been granted permanent affiliation by the Central Board of Secondary Education. It has an admirable record of academic and co-curricular program success, developing confident and well-spoken students ready to achieve their dreams. The school day runs from 8am to 3pm, with assemblies, breaks, and half-hour lunches. 2. National Public School, Gopalapuram, was
founded in 1970 by our Chairman Dr. K. P.
Gopalkrishna and Dean Dr. Santhamma
Gopalkrishna. The school is located in the heart
of the city in Gopalapuram.

3. NPS Gopalapuram has been granted the status
of permanent affiliation by the Central Board of
Secondary Education. The benchmark of its
success has been its admirable record in
academics as well as co-curricular programs
including the personality development
programme. Our students are confident, driven
and well-spoken individuals who are ready to
strive, to soar and achieve their dreams.

4. School begins at 8 am and ends at 3 pm. We
begin the day with a school assembly before the
students go into the classrooms. Students have
a short, ten-minute break in the morning and a
longer lunch break for half an hour in the
afternoon.

5. Students are provided with a fully-equipped
Science Laboratory to understand and practice
what they learn theoretically in Physics,
Chemistry and Biology classes. In the
laboratory, students are given the exposure to
experiential learning with added facilities for
research work. The laboratory has separate
workstations for Physics, Chemistry and
Biology.

6. Learning Mathematics is an interesting and fun-
filled experience for NPS students in the Math
Lab. The lab has various kits and tools to ensure
the development of a strong conceptual and
analytical understanding of what is covered in
the classroom.

7. A state-of- the art Library is provided in the
campus with a wide range of reading material
for children of all age groups. Children could
also use the library resources for curriculum
enhancement with a wide range of reference
material.

8. In the Art Lab, children have the opportunity to
work on their drawing and painting skills under
the creative and extremely talented art teacher
at NPS Gopalapuram. This room also facilitates
storage of all materials required for different art
and craft activities.
