JOB DESCRIPTION
Social Media & Marketing Intern
 Support the firm by monitoring and managing social media channels,
including Facebook, Twitter, Hoot suit, Mail Chimp.
Work with colleagues, to help plan and implement online marketing
campaigns that drive engagement and bookings across social media.
Ensure the social media channels are up to date, relevant and interesting.
Maximize direct marketing opportunities utilizing e-mail, web based and
conventional mailings to publicize established and new areas of work.
Monitor trends and new developments in social media. Explore ways to
attract more followers so our messages are reaching a larger audience.
Help to increase sales with regard to the above digital marketing
channels.

(2) Individual consumers; and
(3) Corporate “road-warriors” like sales reps and consultants.

 London is a relatively free and secure place.
 The setting of the areas is less likely to affect the operations of the organization negatively.
 Brexit will add 30% to the price of an average import and cost the typical SME importer £163k a year
through increased shipping costs, duties and taxes, red tape and border delays.
 The local authorities closely monitor the operations of the Company. Such activities include licensing as
well as the recruitment of employees

 London has a stable economy which is fueled by various economic activities taking place in the region.
 Most of the transactions in the area include businesses as well as different support services.
 Financial experts are suggesting that leaving the EU could lead to a drop in the UK's GDP

 London can be described to be comprised of different races and ethnic groups.
 The diversity of the region provides the much-needed labor market as well a wider pool of the required
skills (King, 2007, p 50).

oThe Mail Boxes Etc. has used different techniques aimed at improving its global coverage.
oOne of the important policies is engaging in market segmentation where the organization has
located branches in the various regions (Chong, 2014, pg280).
oAn example is its branches in London and India.
oAnother significant move is the engagement in franchising where the company hires different
transporting and courier services.
oThrough such a move, the company is not only able to minimize the impacts of the competitors but is
also in a position to penetrate into new markets. (Latham, 2016, pg280).
Current strategies and tactics employed for marketing(Franchisee)
On the other hand, the MBE Lewisham has also sought to engage in different online & Marketing
activities
Such activities include social media marketing, email marketing, Flyers distribution, window
graphics, discount vouchers as well as the creation of online platforms where clients can access
different services.
 The move can be said to be centred on the need to minimize the impacts of enterprises such as
the Amazon and EBay.

An improvement of the London’s branch internal structure can come in handy in improving the
operations of the organization (Danicu, 2015). Conversely, it is important to maintain the standards of
the industry to minimize the impacts of competitors.
