Xavier Bariller trains people in realistic and situational self-defense through his association RISSID. The training focuses on limiting injury, de-escalating conflicts, ending aggressions quickly without over-violence. Unlike fight sports or traditional martial arts, the training prepares students for real-life situations by developing skills like situational awareness, stress management, and assertiveness through dealing with scenarios involving fear, pain, emotions and aggression. Students learn techniques like continuous mobility training and effective communication to manage conflicts.
