This is a slide share on my first initial ideas for my magazine concept. I decided to look at some of the magazine covers as well as fashion adverts on the views on fashion
2. A slow motion, panning effect is used her to really highlight the
actors face as well as their clothing line. This is an effective way
to showcase the models clothes as it gives it a more refreshing
way to present the clothes, where as if it was a simple medium
shot , it would disengage the audience from the clothing, as the
actors/ models would come across as stiff and motionless in the
moving film. Thus I do think that this was a good outlook, on the
look book of the Burberry clothing range.
The Burberry advertisement starts with the
opening credits of the fashion label logo
“Burberry” streaming across the screens as
the models appear to be carefree and relaxed
during the duration of the video opening.
Close up are used throughout the
duration of the film, in order for the
director to help showcase their
clothing range.
A slow reverse zoom, here in a way for the audience to
see the Burberry clothing , by the director elongating
the shot, it really sets the scene of scene , as keeps the
audience engaged rather than disengage them.
Burberry The model “Jamie, Campbell Bower” wears a
pastel pink duster coat, paired up with lime green and
dress trousers.
