This student selected photographs from an exam unit on rural images. He circled photos that used compositional techniques like the rule of thirds and framing that he liked. He crossed out photos with compositions he did not like. His favorite photo showed opposing environments and different lighting between the background and reflection, making it very effective.

4. I have circled the photos that I like the composition of, for example some of
them use the rule of 3rd’s and others use framing. On the other hand, I have
also crossed out the ones which I do not like the composition of.

5. This was my best photograph because you can see the opposing
environments in one image and the different lighting between the
background and the reflection. Therefore, it makes the photo very effective!
