In my advert I used the colours ‘red’ for danger of losing your teeth has
you can see by the advert but also the other reason is because it matches
the colour of the box which covers the Colgate tooth paste.
In my advert the camera angle is close up on the person’s face to focus on
the teeth (what teeth?) because it is a Colgate it is tooth paste the need to
zoom in to see the effects of this product.
The product image plus is at the bottom of the page because it makes it
stand out to the rest and is big and bold. Also because of the colours it
makes it stand out even more.
The lighting is set on the women because they are trying to focus on the
teeth (she hasn’t got any) but they have aimed the lighting for her face.
On this advert it has very big bold text and also very colourful. This is
used to grab the people’s attention. This has a good effect on people
walking by the advert because it stands out even when people aren’t
taking any notice of this advert. This links back to the product because
the Colgate case is red and white and the text is also red and white so it
once again makes it stand out.
The slogan says “Colgate make your teeth last” this is trying to say if you
want your teeth to last don’t use Colgate because has you can see by the
picture the person has not got any teeth.
The target audience is to people who are aged 8 yrs and above because at
around that age you have teeth and you are expected to brush them twice
a day.
This would often appear on corner shop windows or also on television.
This is where people are most often to look because it will stand out on
windows with the great colour and also on television which most people
often watch.
I think that this advert is successful because it shows a various range of
colours also it is very big and bold and stands out to any person walking
by. It also makes it very clear on what it is so nobody can be confused in
knowing what product it is.
