The changes in music technology have shaped the way we consume and listen to music.
Convergence PAST- Before we had to go out of our way to purchase music, like go to a particular shop and buy the music you like. Whether it be in the form of a cassette, record or CD for example. PRESENT- Nowadays we can listen or get music for free from the comfort of our home. Whether it be the radio, TV, Youtube or illegal downloading sites. FUTURE- In the future we might be able to make music ourselves on gadgets such as the ipad. Some sites may also make you start paying to listen to some music, seeing as the artist doesn’t benefit a lot from the free sites.
