Students will learn how to use sound boards, editing equipment, and recording software through hands-on projects and composition of original music. They will study music theory fundamentals and use programs like GarageBand to write and record their own music in any style or genre. The music technology program provides an outlet for creativity and experience in exciting career fields.

2. Our program offers insight and experience into new and exciting career fields! Student will learn how to use sound boards and editing equipment in conjunction with recording equipment.

3. Through cooperative learning, students will work together on projects using interfaces and software which they are already comfortable using.

4. By using computer software that is readily accessible students will be able to compose their own music! The can write any style or genre of music as we study the fundamentals of music theory.

5. Students will also use software to record their own music! By using programs such as Garage Band students can create music to use to practice with or listen as an mp3 or CD.

6. By engaging students with music we will create a new outlet for expression and creativity.
